The Television network NBC recently announced that they are going to launch a two-hour special episode of ‘The Biggest Loser’. The special episode will be about the former contestants of the show. As per the press release from the Network, it seems that the special episode will be named ‘Biggest Loser: Where Are They Now’. The show will be aired as a special Thanksgiving episode and it will focus on the lives of more than 30 contestants who have completed the show since its inception.
The contestants come to this show to find a new direction in life and some of them managed to find love. Stephanie Anderson and Sam Poueu from Season Nine fell in love at the ranch and became engaged recently during a visit to the campus.
Some of the earliest contestants like Tara Costa (from Season Seven) will be seen competing in events like the San Francisco Triathlon. On the other hand, some other contestants like Pete Thomas (season two), Ali Vincent
(Season five) and Sherry Johnston (Season nine) are currently participating in the ‘Biggest Loser 5K’ in South Carolina.
The viewers will get to see old clips of the contestants and how some of them have managed to win over the obesity problem. The celebrity chef Curtis Stone is slated to cook a nice Thanksgiving meal for the past winners of the show.
