Get Him to the Greek reunites Jonah Hill and Russell Brand with Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller in the story of a record company intern with two days to drag an uncooperative rock legend to Hollywood for a comeback concert. The comedy is the latest film from producer Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Funny People). Aaron Greenberg (Hill) gets things done. The ambitious 23-year-old has exaggerated his way into a dream job just in time for a career-making assignment. His mission: Fly to London and escort a rock god to L.A.'s Greek Theatre for the first-stop on a $100-million tour. His warning: Turn your back on him at your own peril. British rocker Aldous Snow (Brand) is both a brilliant musician and walking sex. Weary of yes men and piles of money, the former front man is searching for the meaning of life. Movie Reviews :
This was a truly mediocre film, one tired cliché after another. I honestly didn't expect much and would never have bothered to leave a review, but the previous reviews were to preposterous to have been genuine.
Wooden acting, terrible dialogue, utterly predictable plot and possibly the worst sound track I have ever heard; there is really no reason to see this film. I am actually a fan of Lee Lee Sobieski and keep hoping she gets a break into bigger roles, but this film was a serious bump in the road.
I saw this at Slamdance and I really enjoyed it.
It's about a struggling filmmaker (Leelee S) who takes a job editing porn, but it's really more about her character's journey into her own issues (of the past and present) ... and the fact that this self-discovery takes place amidst the porn industry, well, that adds a good dose of humor and a bit of sex.
There's some laugh out loud moments, usually in the form of shock/crude humor or irony. There's also some drama and romance mixed in there, so it's honestly hard to classify it to one genre of film.
It's a lower-budget indie, but it has a great cinematic look with great performances by all the actors. Jamie Kennedy adds some air-headed humor, and Kristen Johnston adds some cutting humor (loved her). The actor opposite Leelee (Matthew Davis) initial appears as a jaded, cynical character, but of course, there is more beneath the surface and it's rewarding to see his character slowly unveil.
Fun movie, overall. Why an 8 and not a 10? I guess my only criticism is that I got a touch bored somewhere around the middle of the film. Perhaps the shock of the shock humor had lost it's shocking value by that point but we weren't yet to the meaty drama. I don't know. To me, it kind of lagged briefly before getting back on track.

The Story : Naanu Nanna Kanasu is the depiction of a father’s narration of his own coming-of-age, with the birth and growth of his daughter. It is a remake of tamil movie, “Abhiyum Naanum”.

Finally, Prakash Raj has fulfilled his dream by releasing his much-hyped directorial debut venture Naanu Nanna Kanasu. With it he has proved that he is not only a talented actor, but is also an efficient director. Even though it is a remake of the hit Tamil film Abhiyum Naanum, which was remade in Telugu as Akashamantha, the debutant director has adapted it according to the taste of the native audience. He has definitely instilled newness and freshness in the film.

Naanu Nanna Kanasu is all about the relationship between a father and his daughter. The film is made on and family values and unlike today's movies, it deals with a message to the society. It has a few commercial elements like love, sentiment and action too. With the humorous treatment of the subject, director Prakash Raj manages to run the story smoothly thereby making the audience tighten their seat belts.

Andari Banduvaya Movie Review :
Andari Banduvaya may not be a brilliant, intense, dramatic film like Aa Naluguru but Chandra Siddarth shows that perfection can be projected on screen only when a job is done wholeheartedly. He weaves an interesting narrative of good people who spread goodness, radiate positive vibes and show their benevolence in thought and deed; the best part of the film is that all characters exude happiness that is so visible on their visages, each frame from the first to the last spills character that is selfless and sacrificing.


The movie is all about giving in some form or the other, there is no iota of selfishness, there is dignity in work, and finally a beautiful message that inheritance, legacy is not about blood it is to do with character, the good qualities that one imbibes. The film is not preachy, it doesn't wear heavy emotions on it's sleeve, there is humour, there is romance, there are soothing melodies, simple yet meaningful dialogues. The lead pair share a bonhomie that is infectious. Even the villain has a golden heart and no mistake committed by the characters in the film are big enough to be called blunders.
The film has no big stars, no big names, no item numbers or crackling, over-the-top dialogues. There are no compliments, no obligations, there is just love, sunshine and happiness. Watching the film makes you feel good, feel nice and feel pure. It's like a feeling you get when you give up non-vegetarian food, it's like adopting a child, it's like living in a utopian world.
The screenplay carries a lot of conviction, the writing is not superlative but suits the mood of the film. Naresh brings in utmost level of authenticity to his character as Sharwanand's father.



It's a totally contrasting role that Sharwanand gets to play here, very refreshing, he doesn't blow trumpets about his Samaritan work, he lets others take the credit..he has learnt all of it from watching his father. In Prasthanam he shares the limelight here he hogs it, be it dances, his expressions everything is controlled, he doesn't make a big deal over any emotion. His choice of roles show his maturity and range as an artiste. He is supported by Padma Priya who quietly steals the scenes, she acts like a veteran and plays the role of a working woman who's shouldering heavy responsibilities with panache. Both Padma Priya and Sharwanand complement each other well, their chemistry works and how!
RK has got one of the finest roles ever after his work in Hyderabad Nawabs, he shows his forte is just not comedy. All the characters have added their share of spark to the narrative, the camera work adds to the vibrance of the theme, the title song couldn't be more apt. Editing could have been better. The story? It's wafer-thin, about people needing each other and being there for each other. A world of humanity, happiness. Watch it once and you will see it work on you asap, you are sure to find god in every person you talk to, every animal that crosses you and every bird that flies past you. Andari Banduvaya is a celebration of a good life, who wouldn't want to be a part of it?

The Story : Vroom, Adventures of Smarty, the Magical Car is the story of Smarty, a naughty car with a mind of its own. The story goes that a scientist, Dr Ramanujam, is working on a secret Artificial Intelligence chip which an evil goon, Mr X wishes to acquire. He sends his henchmen to steal the chip, but Dr Ramanujam manages to escape with it and puts it in a car. It is this car that then gets a mind of its own and starts playing tricks on his new owner and the people around him. What follows is a series of fun filled events that make Smarty the star attraction.

Vroom Synopsis :
Scientist Ramanujan works on a secret chip which when inserted in any inanimate object can get life onto it. Mr.X is the villain who knows that Ramanujan is working on the chip and wants to steal it from him so that he can use it for evil purposes. He sends his allies, Girgit and Diana to Ramanujan’s lab to steal the chip from him. Ramanujan escapes and runs out of his lab; its late in the night so in the dark, he just scampers to the nearby second hand car holding area and hides his chip in one of the cars parked in the area. As he is cornered by Girgit and Diana, Ramanujan jumps into a drain and he is untraceable. Mr.X is angry with Girgit and Diana, and sends them back to the car park area to find the chip; but by the time they reach the place, the cars have been sent to their respective showrooms for display.
Rahul our hero is a 17 year old boy has a special interest and passion for automobiles and thinks any vehicle if treated with care and with sufficient love will work really well. As can be seen, he is travelling in a taxi and the taxi breaks down. The taxi driver starts abusing the car and calls it a piece of junk, but Rahul sits behind the wheels and gets it going.
Rahul is visiting his brother and sister-in-law who is pregnant and is excited about on the thoughts of becoming a chacha.
He is particularly attracted by Mrs. Dadabhoy’s 1967 Morris car which breaks down all the time. Mrs. Dadabhoy lives in the neighbouring locality. While repairing Mrs. Dadabhoy’s car, he sees Pooja who is jogging nearby and is mesmerised by her beauty.
Rahul’s elder brother Prakash wants to buy a new car and go to the nearby car showroom to test drive a car. The car they test drive is the car that has the chip inside and so it has a mind of his own. Through the sudden brakes and jerks the car gives, everyone just feels that the problem is with Prakash’s driving and there is nothing wrong with the car. Since there are no fresh stocks and Prakash cannot wait for the stocks to arrive as his wife is due any moment, the showroom manager asks them to take this car home till new stocks arrive. And thus, Smarty enters our hero Rahul’s life.
From here, starts the adventures of Smarty and Rahul. Rahul realises that Smarty is a special car and has a mind of its own and loves it immensely. Smarty also loves his new family and is especially fond of Rahul. The Plot Summary:
Director Gurinder Chadha of Bend It Like Beckham fame is back with a romantic comedy thriller, It’s A Wonderful Afterlife, starring Shabana Azmi and US-based actor Sendhil Ramamurthy. The film will release in India in English and its dubbed Hindi version, tentatively titled, Hai Mar Jawan.
Presented by Indian Films in association with Studio 18, the film is a humorous account of a London-based Punjabi mother’s desperate measures to get her fat daughter married to a tall, dark and handsome hunk.
The film will release in the UK, where Gurinder is better known for her films like Bride And Prejudice and Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging, on April 21. The UK launch will happen through two red carpet premieres, in London on April 12 and a regional premiere in Birmingham on April 14.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Shaun of the Dead meet in this charming comedy romp about an Indian-Punjabi mother taking her obsession with marriage into frighteningly funny territory.
Mrs Sethi, a widow, can't bear the thought of her only daughter being alone and unhappy. Okay, she's a little plump and opinionated...but she would make a great wife for some lucky man, if only she were given a chance. When Mrs Sethi can no longer stomach the rudeness of families who refuse her daughter, she takes matters into her own hands with the only way she knows...Suddenly a police hunt begins for a serial murderer who cooks a killer curry.
Mrs Sethi doesn't feel too guilty until the spirits of her victims come back to haunt her as they are unable to be reincarnated until their murderer dies. Mrs Sethi has no problem killing herself - she'll get to see her dead husband again - but how can she go before her beloved daughter is married?

It set me thinking as reel after reel of Gurinder Chadha's It's A Wonderful Afterlife unspooled. We (the Bollywood reviewers/critics) are extremely harsh on films produced on hometurf. We go hammer and tongs after these film-makers, as if they have committed a crime that they cannot be absolved of. We tend to ridicule films, its makers, the actors in those films… In fact, just about everyone associated with those films.
How about using the same yardstick for movies attempted by names that command tremendous respect in the West? We forgive them, most of the time. We even turn a blind eye, ignoring the deficiencies only because the West holds them in high esteem. The thought crosses our mind pretty often: Wouldn't we come across as complete nincompoops if we ridiculed them, even if they turn up with pure trash?

Heartless Hollywood Movie Reviews :
Ridley's first film in way too many years is a dark urban fairytale about a young photographer who encounters murderous demons on the streets of London. Firstly, I have to admit to being a huge fan of Ridley's work and The Reflecting Skin is in my personal Top 10 movies of all time, so I have to say I loved this genre-playing horror film.


Heartless is, to my mind, Ridley's most conventional film to date as it is the first truly genre-based film he has made, but, underneath the conventions of the horror film we find his usual philosophical musings on death, beauty, existentialism, good and evil, chaos and the individual's struggle to make sense of the world.
Heartless is a step towards the mainstream for Ridley and that may well be its commercial undoing; too "mainstream" genre for the art-house crowd, too cerebral for the thrill loving multiplex gore-hound.
Ultimately, this is a serious film, a dark and often beautiful film that haunts the mind after viewing and already demands a second viewing of me to unravel some of its dark mysteries. Intelligent, moving, sometimes shocking and occasionally funny this is an engrossing and enjoyable piece of work that gives food for thought as well as an entertaining ghost train of a ride. Approach this one with an open mind and you will be rewarded with a strong contemporary horror film with some real depth and intelligence.



A really great twisted Horror Thriller. Not completely as original as the filmmakers want you to believe (watch last years "The Disappeared" for a similar film/movie experience, also made/from the UK), but a really great movie. Jim Sturges, who really has played quite a few roles and seems to be a rising new star on the British horizon, carries this movie with his lead performance.
He and some of his co-stars where at the Fright Fest screening, where Jim performed a song from the soundtrack of the movie. A soundtrack that has been written just for the movie and is integrated very well into it. Very subtle layered and greatly acted, this might need a second viewing, to get most of the story!

Michael owes money to Dublin's meanest gangster, Darren Perrier. When the debt is called in Brenda, Michael's recently "dumped" and suicidal best friend, accidentally shoots dead one of his goons. To make matters worse Michael's estranged father, Jim, arrives just in time to witness the scene. With a bounty on their heads Michael, Jim and Brenda flee to the mountains.
On the run with his eccentric father, who’s convinced he'll die the next time he sleeps, and an increasingly morose Brenda, Michael is about to lose his mind. But as the net tightens and the helter-skelter chase reaches its climax he is forced to forgive his father and confront his true feelings for Brenda. With every hard man in Dublin on their trail it looks like Michael won't make it through the next 24 hours; however, The Grim Reaper and a gang of savage dogs have a funny way of intervening.


I picked up on a couple of reviews of PERRIER'S BOUNTY in the daily newspapers and thought - that is worth a look over!! Good cast - Brendon Gleeson Liam Cunningham Jim Broadbent Cillian Murphy et al - and a story of the shady underworld inhabiting Dublin......drugs, guns, violence, dog fights and other such delights.
So today I packed myself off to the local multiplex and gladly bought my ticket.

Perrier's Bounty Hollywood Movie Reviews :
The premise goes that Michael (Murphy) owes Perrier (Gleeson) a sum of money, which he hasn't got - two of Perrier's thugs tell him he has four hours to find the money - or he will have two bones broken. That sets him haring off to the local dive looking for The Mutt (Cunningham), the local loan shark. The Mutt tells Michael he is short - but is doing a job that night and needs a third man...
So starts a hectic forty eight hours for Michael as he has run-ins with his father (Broadbent), the girl in the flat below, her on/off lover, two sadistic car clampers, the local dog fraternity, the snooker hall drug pusher, the ASBO-dodging car thieves.......I could go on, mentioning the double-crossing and the underlying love story triumvirate.


Funny in parts but more chuckle-some than guffaws, the whole leaves you wanting more meat to chew over - there is not much to bring you in to the story completely. When it concludes - and I had a doubting question over the way it ends, up in the hills (not to give it away but there WOULD be repercussions after the fact) - it leaves you with a sense of it having just petered out.
I give this film a seven out of ten - the violence is gritty and realistic - Brendon Gleeson is a marvel! - but is bogged down by unnecessary plot angles and sidelines. A tighter script would have made this experience more enjoyable.

John Rabe English Film Story :
Based on a true story, "John Rabe" tells the story of a German businessman who rescued more than 200,000 civilians during the so-called "Nanking Massacre" in China. Drawing from John Rabe's 1937 diaries as source material, Academy Award Winner Florian Gallenberger has crafted a portrait of a man revered as a saint in China to this day and yet never rewarded for his courage during his lifetime.

John Rabe Movie Reviews :
Before watching this movie, I went to Rabe's house in Nanjing and I read his dairy. I was surprised that the movie does not match with the dairy. Important parts are missing, and there are even contradictions at some points. For example: according to the dairy, Rabe's wife Dora is outside Nanjing before the Japanese invasion starts. In the movie, Dora is still in Nanjing. And when it comes to the date that Rabe leaves Nanjing, there's also a couple of months difference between the dairy and the movie. It seems as if the movie producers wanted to 'dramatize' the original story. I don't understand why. Rabe's dairy is dramatic enough. My advice is to skip the movie, and read the dairy instead.
John Rabe's story is important and probably merited its 'blockbuster' treatment. Rabe was the elected head of the international organisation that attempted to save the Nanjing Chinese from the appalling treatment they received at hands of their Japaense conquerors in 1937-8. The scale of the massacre, some 200,000-300,000 Chinese were killed, is still denied by many Japanese.

These poor people were buried alive, beheaded in competitions, mown down by machine gun, burnt alive. The women were gang raped and, if they did not die as a result, sexually mutilated to ensure their deaths. The appalling behaviour of the Japanese troops in Nanjing is not sufficiently well known. By making a Hollywood-style 'blockbuster', the Germans have done the world a service. The film may be, indeed is, wrong in detail, but at least it may be seen by a wide audience who may then be tempted to find out more. In my opinion, this is a MUST SEE film because it addresses an appalling event that has been covered up for far too long.

All About Evil Hollywood Movie Reviews :
Writer/director Josh Grannell, aka horror hostess Peaches Christ, has created a comedic bloodfest artfully designed to become a camp classic. Grannell pays overt homage to some of his favorite filmmakers, notably John Waters and gore auteur Herschell Gordon Lewis of "Blood Feast" fame, and gifts us with an enthusiastic romp to the dark side of film-making.
Natasha Lyonne, as librarian-turned-lunatic Deborah Tennis, channels various Hollywood grand dames to wild-eyed comedic effect; imagine if Bette Davis chewed scenery in one of Roger Corman's legendary Poe adaptations. Thomas Dekker of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" plays the star-struck film fan to boyish perfection. And satisfying cameos from the likes of Waters alumnus Mink Stole and fellow horror hostess Cassandra Peterson (aka Elvira) round out a great cast. You're also treated to the best evil twins since "The Shining" played by Jade and Nikita Ramsey. And wildly entertaining turns from Noah Segan as dentally-challenged psycho Adrian, and Jack Donner (who's been in everything from "Buffy" to "Star Trek") as the crusty and overzealously murderous projectionist Mr. Twigs, round out Grannell's fantasy cast.
What's often most important to get from a film like this is the sense that cast and crew are enjoying themselves, and the fun shines through in every scene. Part of its delivered joy comes in spotting its numerous in-jokes, which touch on such diverse topics as horror film history or the local San Francisco drag scene. But an insider's knowledge of trivia isn't at all needed to appreciate the over-the-top and violently funny romp that Grannell delivers; instead, bring your love of exploitation and an enthusiasm for camp. Worth the price of admission alone are the parody film titles created by Tennis in the course of her filmicidal spree. And the movie has one of the best opening title sequences I've seen in years.
Much of the film was shot inside San Francisco's historic Victoria Theatre, a former vaudeville hall in the city's Mission district. Using such an authentic location is all part of Grannell's desire to create a red-inked love poem to the uniquely thrilling experience of watching horror films in a packed movie house.

Aram's family thinks he's wasting his life and education by working in the coffee house. Soon after moving into the apartment, Sandy hires Aram to be her nanny while she takes on work for the first time since her children where born. It isn't long when Aram and Sandy find they get along wonderfully and start to date. But the question is: is their relationship real or is it, in fact, just a rebound for both of them?


Movie Reviews :
As night follows day in the romantic-comedy alternaverse, things may get tough, but toughness is a matter of degree. If we want epic tragedy, we'll catch up with Macbeth, right? But if we fancy attractive characters working their winning way through a well-mapped series of rolling hills, we could do worse than give The Rebound a whirl.
For one thing, it's the work of film-maker Bart Freundlich (Trust the Man). It also stars a livewire Zeta-Jones as upscale suburban wife and mother Sandy, who flicks her cheating spouse for a loft above a New York coffee shop where lonelyheart Aram (Bartha) works. Sandy is 40 (but still hot!), college grad Aram is 24 and a natural as a nanny for Sandy’s kids when she lands a great, alternaverse TV job. And they have so much in common, how can it not be love ...
Can you feel it? If not, don't blame the stars, who are so right together they subvert potential cliches while keeping everyone guessing. Are Sandy and Aram a flameout or a for-keeps? Either way, it's an over-easy ride.
I went to see this movie with my girlfriend because I don't mind romantic comedies as they often have some pretty funny moments in them.
I have to say, this one fell flat for me as the attempts at humour were pretty toe curling, so all that was left was the romance. And whilst it was OK, it wasn't entirely believable. As you would expect in a movie made for women, Catherine Zeta Jones' character is pretty human and her protagonist played by Justin Bartha is superhuman: young and good looking but likes older women, way more mature than he should be for his age, loves other peoples' children, shy but outspoken when it matters, and of course he is not interested in other women.
You know the story. You've seen it 100 times before. This one doesn't have the laughs. Just about worth watching, but not worth a special trip.

Plot:
Fausta is suffering from a rare disease called the Milk of Sorrow, which is transmitted through the breast milk of pregnant women who were abused or raped during or soon after pregnancy. While living in constant fear and confusion due to this disease, she must face the sudden death of her mother. She chooses to take drastic measures to not follow in her mother's footsteps.



Movie Reviews :
Infused with local colour, this Peruvian film finds real resonance in its light handling of a personal journey. Without overstating its themes or sentimentalising the drama, filmmaker Llosa tells a story we'll never forget.
Fausta (Solier) is a young woman raised in the shadow of a rural myth: after her mother was raped by terrorists in the 1980s, Fausta grew up on the milk of sorrow (the literal title means "the frightened tit") because her soul was so frightened that it buried itself in the earth. Now in Lima living with her Uncle Lucido (Ballon) and working for the wealthy Mrs Aida (Sanchez), Fausta is only just now starting to discover who she really is.




A vague touch of magical realism adds dramatic texture: the last vestige of Fausta's past is a potato inserted into her uterus to prevent rape. It's trying to take root, and doctors say she must decide what to do. Meanwhile, she goes about her work, helping with her aunt and uncle's wedding catering business and getting ready for a cousin's wedding. But along the way, she is redefining her own existence. And some of these lessons are pretty difficult.
The film' tellingly explores the Latino class system, as Fausta's Quechua roots contrast against the city's Spanish descendants. So when she meets a fellow campesino, Aida's gardener Noe (Solis), we can see that she's finally found someone she can trust and speak to in her native language. This element may be lost on viewers who rely on subtitles (and it's perhaps not necessary) but it adds an important layer to the film. And no one will miss the way she sings to express her emotions.


The performances bring out dark honesty, earthy humour and sharp irony. And even the side characters are full of personality. The depiction of Lima life--both in the city and the shantytown--is colourful and vibrant; the various weddings alone are worth the price of admission. And we also have the potent journey of the almost painfully timid Fausta, who starts to realise that maybe she isn't as invisible as she always thought she was. Plot:
Change and a city in China. In Chengdu, factory 420 is being pulled down to make way for multi-story buildings with luxury flats.



24 City Movie Reviews :An intriguing hybrid of fiction and documentary, this film chronicles the dismantling of a notorious factory in Chengdu to make way for a new luxury community. It's skilfully assembled, but a bit dry for Western audiences.
As Factory 420 prepares to close, people recount their experiences. Born in the 1930s, He Xikun is the eldest former employee. Guan is a former security boss remembering the factory's role in the Korean War. Hou recounts her emotional experience in Chengdu. Dali (Lu) walks through the site to start a new job. Gu (Joan Chen) remembers her colleagues' efforts to find her a boyfriend. Zhao (Chen Jianbin) grew up in the factory and is now a TV presenter. And Su (Zhao Tao) is a young woman moving forward.
This is a minutely observed film that feels almost like industrial art, capturing both the humanity as well as the machinery, oil and smoke. It's impossible to tell whether the person talking to the camera is a real person or an actor, as all of them seem authentic. And their stories are packed with terrific details and remarkable settings, as these people talk about the factory's history as a secret supplier of military equipment. The film is cleverly shot and edited, with witty touches and telling emotions. Although it's also rather loose and unfocussed.
Despite being mainly a collection of talking heads, the film has a cheeky tone that makes it watchable. Along the way there's plenty of humour alongside some harrowing stories, such as watching a woman relive the day she lost her young son while en route to her factory job. And with interviewees born between 1937 and 1982, we get a remarkable look at "progress" over a span of time.
As it continues, we also see the machines being removed and the buildings being either revamped or demolished to make way for the vast new 24 City. The reality is that many of these people came to work in the factory to support their families back home in the countryside, but today the situation is reversed: life in the cities is hard. Which isn't a truth limited to China.

Plot:
A week in the life of Woody; a Soho pimp, as seen through the eyes of concealed documentary cameras: A week which spirals brutally out of control

Synopsis:
Woody is a pimp and fixer for his boss Stanley and Soho in London is their territory. When Woody agrees to be filmed by a documentary film crew he doesn't expect his week to be filled with so much commotion. Being beaten up by his landlord for late payment of rent is the least of his worries. When he discovers that one of his girls has gone missing, a hunt begins to find her. A rival Chinese gang also appears to be moving into Woody's terrain. It could be the start of a brutal turf war. Realising his life up until now doesn't really give much to his future, Woody starts to question if it's time to make a move away from his lifestyle which is starting to spiral out of control.



Working for Stanley (Danny Dyer), Woody (Robert Cavanah) is a pimp, hustler and fixer in Soho's sex industry who agrees to be followed and filmed by a documentary camera crew for one week. However, it soon turns out to be no ordinary week; one of his porn directors is behind schedule, hes kicked out of his apartment for not paying his rent and hes beaten up by his landlord and by Chinese thugs who are encroaching onto Stanley's territory.
These are the least of his problems, though, as he finds out when one of his girls, Petra, goes missing. During his frantic search for her throughout the seductive Soho underworld, Woody soon finds himself starting to question his whole life a life he now finds is spiralling brutally out of control.
Featuring an explosive cast (including Billy Boyd, Scarlett Alice Johnson, Martin Compston and Barbara Nedeljakova), Pimp is a sexy, exciting and action-packed look at the darker side of Londons glamorous and dangerous nightlife.

Plot:
Our three hapless heroes - Igor, Artyom, and Sauna - return for another lesson from St. Valentine. This time they must learn the true value of fatherhood.

The story: love in the big city continues as Igor, the Russian-American dentist, invites his friends Artyom, the Russian architect cum student cum tour-bus guide, and Sauna, the Finnish fitness-club management trainee, to his father\'s ranch. With them are Katya, Artyom\'s recently reconciled wife, Alisa, the Russian-American fitness instructor whose heart Sauna won, and Nastya, the Russian-American sex-therapist who, we learn, has agreed to marry Igor. In addition to being a fun vacation for all, Igor wants the trip to give Nastya a chance to meet her future father-in-law. On the plane they strike up a conversation with a couple of Americans who tell them about a monastery near the ranch where there is a statue which a legend says has the power to cure barrenness. After arriving at the ranch, they decide out of curiosity to visit the monastery, and while there, despite the warning of a monk, they all touch the statue. According to the legend of the statue, they will each conceive a child the next time they have sex. They are unsure whether to believe this legend, but, having had experiences with St. Valentine and his considerable powers, they decide to refrain from sex for the time being, just in case. All three agree that they are simply not ready for fatherhood. Although at first hurt and confused, when the women discover the real reason for their odd excuses and machinations to avoid sex, they become angry and leave. Left alone by their women, they decide to have a good time and resolve to party both hardy and to the max. At this point St. Valentine once again enters their lives. He is appalled that they cannot understand that children are a blessing and that fatherhood is an honor. He decides they need another lesson and levels a new curse on them. Under this curse, the first of them to have sex will indeed conceive a child, exactly as the legend of the statue foretold. The catch is that when that happens, the other two will then both be doomed to remain childless for the next twenty years. Confronted with the prospect of childlessness, and forced into a zero-sum game from which only one can emerge a father, the three rush headlong into a comedic, and quite Machiavellian, race against each other. St. Valentine, of course, has some twists and turns in store for them, and in the end all three will learn the true value of fatherhood.'
