Jayasuriya and Kunchakko Boban are Jerry and Ravi Varma in the movie –two young guys who does any thing to earn big bucks. Jerry is a born conman while Ravi Varma is a man of integritywho was accidentally forced to be in this path. They are always into some silly deceitful activities which will give them some money. But after every such tricky fun's, they are into a phase where they need to apply meticulous intelligence to get away unscathed. The Story Neelathaamara Malayalam Film :

Neelathamara is the remake of Malayalam movie Neelathamara. The movie revolves around Kizhakumbattu, an ancestral home in a village. There is a temple near the home. Kunhjimalu (Arachana) and Sharothe Ammini arrive there daily to offer prayers . There was a belief among the people that, if anyone offers special prayer to the deity at this temple, a blue lotus will bloom in the pond near the temple. Kunhjimalu was Appukkuttan's uncle's daughter.



One day Kunhjimalu was brought to Kizhakumbattu Malukutty Amma's house to do household work by Appu Kuttan (Suresh). Haridas (Kamlesh) who was the only son of Kizhakumbattu family. He returned home after completing higher studies. Later he fell in love with house maid Kunhji Malu.

Neelathaamara Malayalam Film Synopsis :

Neelathamara a film that launched Ambika, is being remade after 30 years. The film was written by reputed writer M.T. Vasudevan Nair and directed by noted poet Yousaf Ali Kechery in 1979. This is the first time that a Malayalam film is being officially remade, say sources. Lal Jose, an admirer ofthe film from his school days, will direct the remake to be produced by Revathy Kala Mandir. Newcomer Archana will reprise Ambika\'s role. Ambika went on to become one of the top actresses in south India and had been paired with almost all the superstars then. At the pooja of the film held at Cochin, actors in the original, such as Ambika, Ravikumar and Sathar, took part.



The new version of Neelathamara will be produced by G. Suresh Kumar under the banner of Revathy Kalamandhir. Vijay Ulaknath who has done Mohanlal starrer Madamby will wield the camera. The Story Kappal Muthalaali Malayalam Film:

Kappal Muthalaali movie is about a central government employee Thulaseedharan (Ramesh Pisharady) who is son of an employee in a passport office. The father died while at office. Later Thulaseedharan got the job of father by the consideration of die in harness. But to clear his debt, Thulasi decided to take voluntary retirement. From the amount he received from voluntary retirement, he bought a plot for building a resort. Nearer to his new plot was the house of Gulf Chandi (Jagathy Sreekumar). Chandi has no children and he loved his car like his own child. After buying the plot Thulaseedaran built compound wall for the property. This wall blocked the entry to Chandi's house. Due to this issue Thulasi and Chandi became enemies.

When the resort's work was in progress the workers got the remains of an old ship. The archeology department notified this place heritage. As he knew his effort to build a resort in that property will become futile, he decided to sell the plot. He approached Chandi for the purpose.

A Single Man Hollywood Movie Review :

With Tom Ford at the helm, the very least you'd expect from his adaptation of Christopher Isherwood's novel is a parade of gorgeous men in well-cut suits. Certainly there's enough Kennedy-era period detail here to satisfy the most ardent fan of Mad Men (and an uncredited voice cameo from Jon Ham). But the meticulously edited trailer gives no hint of the warmth and humour that underscore this potentially bleak meditation on love and loss.
The action takes place over the course of just one day (and night) -- 30 November 1962 -- in the life of handsome, middle-aged college professor George (Colin Firth). Like his friend, neighbour and one-time lover Charley (Julianne Moore), George is an expat in LA.

He has a good job and a well-appointed home in a picture-perfect suburban street, but since the death of his long-term lover Joe (Matthew Goode) a few months earlier, George has been going through the motions. Now today it appears that he is putting his affairs in order, with a view to ending it all.
I must confess that I never swooned over Colin Firth's Mr Darcy back in the 90s and I've found it increasingly hard to relate to the repressed, lovelorn and frankly lumpen Englishmen he often plays. But here he's a revelation. As George's day unfolds, a series of reveries -- erotic, nostalgic, humorous and sad -- reveal the man behind the immaculately suited exterior. Whether perched on the loo wryly observing his neighbours, lavishing praise on a bemused secretary, or enduring a discourse on bomb shelters from a colleague (Lee Pace), Firth shows a welcome lightness of touch. He's tender and tolerant as Moore's gin-sodden hostess berates him for his inability to be the (heterosexual) man she needs. And his obsessive-compulsive fumbling with a gun and a sleeping bag are hilarious.
Moore expertly conveys the fragility and hopelessness of a woman once married and once feted for her looks, who is now staring into the abyss through the bottom of a bottle of Tanqueray's. It reminded me of some of her best work -- in Safe, Boogie Nights and The Hours -- and made me wish she'd stop wasting her talent playing second fiddle to the likes of Nicolas Cage and Samuel L Jackson.
It's a film in which the camera restlessly prowls in search of physical perfection: in the well-tended gardens of George's neighbourhood; the piercing blue eyes of flirtatious student Kenny (Nicholas Hoult); and the chiselled looks of Goode's doomed lover. But the script, co-written by Ford and David Scearce, ensures that this never descends into pastiche or glossy melodrama.

Plot Summary:

The Slammin' Salmon Hollywood Movie Review :

I'll admit that I'm a huge Broken Lizard fan, I have seen all of their films and even have an appreciation for the relatively unfunny Club Dread. For me, this is just a fun-loving group of comedians that love to make their audience laugh, or at least try their damnedest. I had the pleasure of attending the Canadian premiere of the "Slammin' Salmon" in Montreal recently and the Broken Lizard troupe was there to meet and greet the fans and answer questions after the movie. They are true class acts and friendly guys. While I won't give away any specific jokes I will say that from a fan's perspective, this is their second funniest film, with Supertroopers of course being the cult favourite. So yes, it is an improvement on Beerfest; the Slammin' Salmon is just straight up funnier.



As for regular movie-goers and comedy fans, I highly recommend this film. It was produced with a low budget during the writers' strike, so without a big studio production, it has the fast pacing of a stage show. The focus in this movie is on the JOKES... which is something refreshing to see in a comedy; less emphasis on character development and a complex plot, but more emphasis on keeping the audience consistently laughing. Swinki ( Piggies) German Polish Movie Review :

Also one of the strong films in KVIFF this year. A really strong tale about boy prostitutes on the former border of Poland and Germany. I thought the main actor did a superb job and the directing was accurate and well done.Polish teens sell themselves to German pedophiles for cash and consumer goods in the heavy-handed Polish melodrama "Piggies." Vet helmer Robert Glinski crudely belabors the relationship between Polish poverty, access to the fruits of Western capitalism and a collapse in traditional values. Repping something of a disappointment to fans of his more nuanced "Hi Tereska," the pic is unlikely to see as much fest travel but might touch a chord at home.



I almost started to hate the stupidity of the young main actress, so the film really got me and I was following it strongly.
The film brings something new to the old "Prostitute plot" by the destruction of some of the characters. There is a great "James Dean -Giant" touch in the story. Success corrupts and changes man.

Set in 1990, when the updated Schengen agreement removed border controls between Poland and Western Europe, the story unfolds in an economically depressed Polish town just across the river from Germany. Bright, clean-cut 16-year-old Tomek (Filip Garbacz) earns top marks and participates in his church youth group; an aspiring astronomer, he wants to raise money to buy a fancy telescope, but his goals change when he falls for club girl Marta (Anna Kulej), a pint-sized gold-digger who demands expensive gifts.

While Tomek earns little from his job at the local market, his best friend, Ciemny (Daniel Furmaniak), is mysteriously flush with cash and fancy clothes. When Tomek accidentally witnesses how Ciemny earns his money, he's shocked and disgusted and tries to drag him to the priest.

The shrilly moralistic, cliche-ridden screenplay by Joanna Didik and Glinski fails to make convincing or particularly poignant their protagonist's sudden transformation from straight arrow to piggie. Tomek's character turns out to have just two facets -- which is twice as many as the other dramatis personae.

It's hard to say which one-note character appears the most ridiculous -- perhaps Tomek's constantly primping sister (Katarzyna Pysznska), whose motto is, "I don't care how you earn the money -- it's important that you have it," or his foul-mouthed, beer-swilling father (Bogdan Koca), who cares only about soccer matches. With family like this, no wonder pimp Borys (Tomasz Tyndyk) and petty criminal Max (Heiko Raulin) must maintain a constant leer to indicate their evil natures.

From the ridiculous way the male piggies dress, even the most clueless parent should have an idea of what's going on. Costume details, like the rest of the lurid tech package, support the histrionics of the plot, particularly in the over-the-top ending.

Desert Flower Germany Film Review :

Desert Flower is a weird movie. It is based on the life story of Waris Dirie, a super-model up there with Naomi Campel and Cate Moss. The movie focuses on the time from just before her discovery until her big success, with constant flashbacks of her childhood in Somalia and her way to London. Liya Kebede plays a wonderfulWaris Dirie , very lovely and full of surprise and fear of the daily life we all take for granted, while at the same time showing great bravery and a strong will to fight for a better life. The rest of the cast is medium at best, a positive exception only the character of Terence Donovan, the photographer that discoveredWaris Dirie. The director did not resist the temptation to give Waris a sort of "funny sidekick-friend" as well as the stereotypical I-Jumped-Out-Of-" The Devil Wears Prada"-Movie - manager, to add some slapstick-touch, which was totally unnecessary.



The movie does not leave anyone untouched though, it has some heartwarming and touching as well as some very cruel and disturbing passages. It is funny and sweet when Waris is struggling with the British everyday life, making friends, and so on. It is hard to bear when you are faced with drastic pictures of a 3 year old girl being circumcised, with a 19-year old woman suffering still from this cruel and brutal violation, and with the fact that a whole tradition tries to justify this. And that is the main weak point of the movie. The changes from the funny, light and sweet scenes to the brutal and cruel ones come without warning.
The editor or director does not give you the time to set your mind to that kind of situation, and after a hefty scene they just switch back to the light comedy-part as if nothing happens. While I understand the intention, for me as a viewer I could not enjoy the funny parts - which were never the less intended to entertain the audience. I recommend this movie if you can handle the topic, but do not look for a entertaining biopic with some depth.
