Embattled easily aroused quarterback Brett Favre apologized to his Minnesota Vikings teammates for the distraction the Jenn Sterger scandal has caused.
According to ESPN, Favre met with the team at their New Jersey hotel, where they are preparing for tonight's game with the Jets, his employer during the scandal.
Brett says that he'll play "lights out tonight." He's accused of texting naked photos to Jenn Sterger, then a reporter for the Jets, during his stint with that club.

Favre originally wouldn't comment on the allegations, but an NFL investigation was launched anyway. Sterger reportedly will fully cooperate with the investigation.
"We're looking at all our options now and our only concern is what's in Jenn's best interest," Phil Reese, her manager, said when asked if she is retaining counsel.
Reese also reinforced that Sterger didn't supply Deadspin with any of the evidence used in the Favre story, and the site itself admits it got it through a third party.
Favre won't address it publicly but has "no problem with talking to the commissioner" about it. He may face suspension if he really texted photos of his junk.

Earlier media reports had claimed that the chief reason for her breakup with Reg Traviss was the wild lifestyle that she led- drugs and booze a constant part of it. Gurgaon, Oct 12 : His turbulent past is only too well known, but Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt says he has changed ever since he tied the knot with Manyata two years ago and has become a family man.
"After marriage I have become a family man. I like to be more at home now and spend quality time, watch movies with my wife. I have become more responsible," Sanjay told IANS in an interview.
The 51-year-old actor has been married thrice. Sanjay's first marriage was to actress Richa Sharma in 1987, but she died from brain tumour in New York in 1996. The couple have a daughter named Trishala, who lives in the US.
Then he married model Rhea Pillai, but the two got divorced in 2005. In 2008, Sanjay tied the knot with Manyata.
"Ups and downs don't change a person, age changes a person. With age I have become more responsible. I thank my fans for standing by me during tough times," he said about his chequered life.
Sanjay's personal life was troubled by drug problems and his life took a turn for the worse when he was arrested for illegal possession of weapons and was convicted.
The actor feels things started looking up ever since Manyata has come into his life and right now he is looking forward to welcoming twins.
Asked how he is preparing himself, Sanjay said: "I am not preparing anything. I am just waiting for them to come and I can see them in front of me. I am excited."
Sanjay made his Bollywood debut with "Rocky" in 1981 and was seen in films like "Sadak" (1991), "Saajan" (1991) and "Khalnayak" (1993). His 1999 film "Vaastav" won him the Filmfare Best Actor Award.
After doing serious and action-packed roles, Sanjay went on to tickle the funny bones of audiences with fun films "Munnabhai M.B.B.S", "Lage Raho Munnabhai", and "All The Best". The actor is returning to the action genre with Mani Shankar's "Knock Out". Releasing Friday, it also stars Irrfan Khan and Kangana Ranaut.
"The action genre has been suppressed for a while in the film industry and now it is coming back, which is very good for all of us. Thanks to Salman Khan and his film 'Dabangg', action is coming back," he added.
The actor was at the IIFA Buzz at Kingdom of Dreams here for the promotion of "Knock Out".
Giving details about the film, he said it is about "a man with a mission. He wants to get back all the money stored in Swiss banks. He wants the money back in the country and distribute it among our people. Irrfan is the mediator through whom he wants to bring the money back." So how was it working with Irrfan and Kangana?
"Itwas a great experience. Irrfan is a great actor and a fantastic humanbeing. Initially, it was difficult shooting for the film as I had to imagine Irrfan in front of me and say my dialogues but later everything went off well."
"Kangana is a wonderful human being. She getscompletely involved in her character. I have just completed another film with her, 'No Problem'. She is a lovely co-star to work with." Other films that Sanjay is working in are "Power", "Rascals", which is also his home production and the third instalment of the Munnabhai series.

Bollywood star Anil Kapoor's latest achievement is his inclusion in the Hollywood flick, Mission Impossible IV. It is no doubt a big achievement as he will now feature in this Tom Cruise starrer espionage series.
Looks like Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire has opened the doors to Hollywood for the 50- year-old Bollywood star. He got the honor of being part of this Oscar winning film and also bagged a role in the US television show '24'. It is an honor for Anil Kapoor to be a part of a film Mission Impossible IV, which stars Renner, Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, Vladimir Mashkov and Ving Rhames, apart from Tom Cruise.
There will be another new addition in the form of Lea Sedoux in this movie to be helmed by Brad Bird. However, the Bollywood actor preferred to maintain silence on his role in the film. Kapoor was quoted saying that as of now, he can only say that he has been offered the film and he has given a positive nod for it.
A friend of Anil was quoted saying that he will play an integral part in the Agent Hunt of Cruise. The addition of his character will add to the suspense of the story and it will be a major turning point. Anil got this role for his wonderful performance in the television series '24'. There is a report that the first schedule of the shooting has already been done with Cruise in Prague last month. Later this month, the movie is likely to shoot in Dubai. Kapoor will be joining the cast in this December when the unit will move to Vancouver.

Over the weekend, Salman Khan sported dark glasses on Bigg Boss throughout the one-hour duration of the show (on Friday and Saturday). There were murmurs about the actor getting surgery to fix the bags under his eyes. We decided to play the wait-and-watch game and see if he'd sport dark sunglasses when he walked the ramp the following day for his Being Human show. It paid off. Sallu came with a chashma on.
He'd flown to Dubai last week, where he had the procedure done. A doctor from Singapore flew in especially for the Khan. After the show, photographer Satyajit Desai clicked pictures of the actor without his shades. We'll let the pictures talk for themselves.

His security asked me to stay away because Salman could get angry if I tried to take pictures but I just had to know why he was wearing glares. While some of the actresses like Rani Mukherjee, Sangeeta Bijlani, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif came to meet him, I took some pictures but it was when he was getting into his car that he took off his glares and I got this pictures."

M A Javed Ansari, director of this 'Amitabh Bachchan' fan club has been quoted saying that the members of the fan club has taken permission from Big B to present him this 68-pound cake along with a painting of his parents. The members of the club will travel to Mumbai to present the cake and the painting to the megastar. They received a letter from Mr. Bachchan, inviting them to his residence in Mumbai.
Ansari added that in his letter, Amitabh had mentioned that memories of his parents are associated with the city and the fans' interest to set up a museum on his movies showed their love for him. A five-member delegation of the fan club will go to meet Amitabh Bachchan on his birthday. The painting of late Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan belongs to the year 1945.

Kareena Kapoor is surely an emotional and kind-hearted actress, which was proved recently, when she appeared on a music reality show to promote her upcoming movie Golmaal 3.
Now, here, something happened that was totally unexpected for Kareena. Suddenly, the host announced that they have brought a very special person to the show, who has been very closely associated with Bebo's grandfather Raj Kapoor. He also said that the person has cradled Kareena when she was a little kid. But this renowned technician of yesteryear is now very lonely and in deep financial trouble.

Carrie Fisher did cocaine on Empire Strikes Back set Monday, October 11, 2010, 17:29 [IST]
Melbourne (ANI): Carrie Fisher's addiction to drugs was in full swing during her role as Princess Leia in 'The Empire Strikes Back' in 1980, it has emerged. "We did cocaine on the set of Empire, in the ice planet," News.com.au quoted Fisher as saying.
"I didn't even like coke that much, it was just a case of getting on whatever train I needed to take to get high," she said. During that same year, 1980, Fisher played the part of a manic ex-girlfriend in The Blues Brothers alongside her then boyfriend Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi.
"Slowly I realised I was doing a bit more drugs than other people and losing my choice in the matter. It wasn't funny when a friend died in my bed from an overdose and it took a long time for that to be... It's not funny still, but it's funnier, and not as tragic," she said.
She also refused to blame either her celebrity upbringing or fame for her descent into drugs. "It's always been my responsibility, if it was Hollywood then we''d all be dope addicts," she added.

A few days back, it was reported that Bollywood actor Sohail Khan almost had a fight with builder Ashish Raheja at Olive bar in Bandra when he allegedly misbehaved with Sohail’s sister Arpita.
Now, it is heard that Ashish is regretting about his act. Last Tuesday, both Sohail and Ashish attended a party by Sunny Deewan at a five-star hotel in Santa Cruz. Taking this opportunity, Raheja approached Khan to apologize for his misbehavior, but Sohail was not ready to forgive him so easily.
When Raheja approached the actor, he firmly asked him to say sorry to his sister Arpita because his behavior has hurt Arpita. Sohail said that he is ready to forget everything if the builder apologizes to his sister.
A friend of Sohail was quoted saying that Sohail could have forgiven Raheja if the act was not meant for Arpita, who is believed to be the apple of the eye of the Khan brothers. Three of them are very protective about their little sister.
Sohail also confirmed the news saying that Ashish apologized to him about the incident at Sunny's party. He also added that Arpita needs to be approached by Raheja with a request of apology.

Reports suggest that the highly anticipated movie Ranga the Donga has been delayed and the movie is most likely to release in November. The upcoming flick has Srikant and Vimalaraman in the lead roles and it will be a love story with a twist. The film has been directed by GV and it will surely woo the audience into the theaters. CR Manohar Naidu, the famous producer has co-produced the movie with GV under the joint banner of Golden Lion Films and Godfather Films.
The producers recently confirmed that the shooting for the film has been completed and the post-production work is going on at the Sabdalaya Theater in Hyderabad. This is the first movie after Mahatma for Srikant and he is going to play the role of a crook in the film. Srikant explained that his character is that of a stylish thief and Vimalaraman is the quick-witted cop, who is hell bent on catching him.
The music for Ranga the Donga has been created by the renowned music composer, Chakri and it is already getting positive vibes from the audience. The film has been inspired from the popular Hollywood flick Out of Sight. We hope that the movie does not get delayed anymore and sticks to its November release date.

Fill disclosure: We do not know for 100 percent fact that Brett Favre actually texted Jenn Sterger pictures of his package, or communicated with her in any way.
But a new video released sure makes it look like he did, compiling all the weird texts and voicemails Sterger received from someone she thought was Favre.
This is the evidence that allegedly surfaced earlier this year, and that the ex-Playboy model and sports columnist will not confirm or deny on the record. The exchanges took place during the frequently-retired QB's one season with the New York Jets. The smoking-hot Sterger covered the team as a reporter.
GOIN' TOO FAVRE: Brett did, if he really texted any wangage to Jenn.
Again, Jenn Sterger did not release this. Everything was acquired from a third party, and it's possible the dude communicating with Jenn was not Brett Favre.

Here is a good news for the ‘Dill Mill Gayye’ fans! The show has been given an extension of two weeks by the channel. It was reported recently, that the popular youth based show of Star One is going off air on October 15 due to its low TRPs. However, as per the latest development, the show will now end on October 29.
The channel has promised to put up their best show during these last few episodes. The viewers can look forward to a comeback of DMG's old gang to say good bye to their ardent fans, which will definitely leave the audience mesmerized. The old team members, who will be seen in the last few episodes include Anjali (Sunaina Gulia), Keerti (Sonia Singh), Atul (Pankit Thakker) and Shubhankar (Ayaz Khan).
However, Dr. Shilpa fans will definitely miss her because as per the script she will have an early exit form ‘Dill Mill Gayye.’ Dr Shilpa's exit track will be aired soon. She decides to leave when she learns about the one night stand of her sister, Riddhima with Armaan. Dr Shipa realizes that Armaan is excessively obsessed with Riddhima.
Palki Malhotra, the creative head of the show, was quoted saying that fans were heartbroken after hearing that the show is going off air. She informed that both the production house and the channel have received numerous text messages from the fans. She said that the channel has considered an extension of two weeks for DMG, considering the demands of the viewers.
Palki further said that they want to justify the return of the old gang by taking this extra time. They want the viewers to bid adieu to the show in a happy mood. On the other hand, actress Shilpa Anand, who plays Dr Shilpa in DMG, was quoted saying that she enjoyed playing Shilpa more than Riddhima because the character of Shilpa had a lot of variety to offer and audience loved her looks too.

Director Srijit Mukherjee’s brainchild 'Autograph' is all set to premiere at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, this month. The film will get released across the theaters on October 14th this year and it stars big names of the Bengali film industry like Prosenjit, Nandana Sen and Indraneil Sengupta.
The upcoming movie is about three people from the world of acting -a reigning superstar, a young director and a theater actress. One day, these three characters meet at a film set and their lives start changing. Autograph, as a film, tries to captivate the audience by giving them an inside view of a celebrity's mind. The movie has been inspired from Satyajit Ray’s 'Nayak' and Ingrid Bergman’s 'Wild Strawberries'.
Director Srijit Mukherjee informed us that the new movie deals with the concept of “a movie within a movie” and the narrative is split between two parts that blurs the boundaries between reality and fantasy. The emotional triangle between the beautiful actress, the young director and the superstar is the primary premise of Autograph but it goes much beyond that.
Nandana Sen will be present at the Abu Dhabi Film festival to promote the film along with director Srijit Mukherjee. We are sure that this film will appeal to the sensibilities of the international as well as the homegrown audience.

The first elimination of ‘Bigg Boss 4’ took place on Friday and Kasab’s lawyer bid adieu to the house. Sara Khan, Seema Parihar and Hrishant Goswami got safe, as public chose to eliminate the lawyer.
Before stepping out of the house, Bigg Boss asked Kazmi to nominate two other housemates for next week’s elimination and he was also asked to give reasons for the same. He was informed that Begum Nawazish Ali cannot be nominated because he has been made the captain of the house and thus safe from this week's nomination. After hesitating for few moments, he nominated Seema Parihar and Veena Malik. He cited the reason that, as both of them are not from the entertainment field, they might not gel well with the other contestants, so they should be eliminated.
This reason, however, was applicable for former Bandit Queen Seema Parhiar but Veena, who is a Pakistani actress, was left surprised. In fact, host Salman Khan also asked Kazmi the same question when he came out of the house. He asked Kazmi why he gave the same reason for Veena, as she is an actress. At this, Kazmi said that he knows Veena only for the match fixing controversy and is not aware of the fact that she is an actress in Pakistan.
Well, this is definitely surprising for everyone because they have stayed under one roof for almost a week and our intelligent and high-ended case counselor, Kazmi, did not know this basic information about one of the housemates. It shows that he was hardly interested to know about his housemates apart from few of them like Rahul Bhatt and model Aanchal Kumar, whom he promised to meet, when they are out of the house.
However, Kazmi has failed to attract the viewers with his high-ended case stories. Probably, Indian voters could not pardon him for defending Kasab at some point of time!

The allegations against Brett Favre, then the New York Jets quarterback, are that he sent racy messages and photographs of his package to a sideline reporter. Oddly, the Vikings play the Jets this week. Asked Thursday to address the report, Favre said: “I’m not getting into that. I’ve got my hands full with the Jets.”
According to Deadspin, when he was with the Jets last time, he also had his hands full … with his wang and a cellphone. Sorry, that was low. Yet maybe true.
In fairness to Brett, there’s no confirmed connection between the (alleged) Favre texts and pics sent to Jenn Sterger, who hasn’t accused him directly, either.
The NFL may conclude, upon reviewing the report and accompanying video, that it’s all a hoax perpetrated by the “third party” who obtained the pics. But …
If this is a hoax, let’s just say it’s an elaborate one. Getting a Mississippi cell, taking voice lessons, and implicating Jets handlers just to eff with Jenn Sterger? If you listen to the voicemails (below), Sterger certainly believed it to be him, as did others. Deadspin must too, otherwise they’d be risking a huge lawsuit.
You don’t defame someone like Brett Favre for kicks. If he comes out and proves this wasn’t him, they’d could be in trouble, but we don’t see it happening.

Actress Eva Longoria Parker says she was cast in " Desperate Housewives" by creator of the show Marc Cherry because of her "selfish" approach.
The actress who has played Gabrielle Solis on the comedy drama for seven seasons -- explained she arrived for her audition with Cherry without reading the entire script, reports contactmusic.
"Marc Cherry asked me, 'What did you think of the script?' So I said, 'You know, I didn't read the script, I just read my parts and I think she's fantastic.' And he said he knew I was Gaby at that moment because that was the most selfish thing to say. That I only read my part. He goes, 'Yep, there's our Gaby'," said Parker.
