Vinod Raj and his mother M. Leelavathi have been making films for many years, but they never offered anything interesting like this.
Their last movie “Shukra” was a total washout. But “Yaaradhu” is refreshing mainly because of its neat presentation, right mix of suspense and horror and excellent performance by M. Leelavathi.
Those who doubt Vinod Raj and Leelavathi’s sincerity will be pleasantly surprised after watching the film.
“Yaaradhu” has all the cliched elements seen in a horror film; from screechy sound of moving doors to scary noise made by winds to eerie silence to flying objects. But the faster pace and the nail biting climax makes it a good watch.
This is dialogue writer Srinivasa Kaushik’s directorial debut and it raises hope that budding talents like him have the potential to bring desired changes in the industry.

Leelavathi, who has played positive roles in over 600 movies, should be complimented for accepting such a role. The 70-year-old not only performed exceptionally well but overshadowed her son Vinod Raj.
Kaushik has really worked hard on screenplay, which has many tense moments.
“Yaaradhu” has been complemented by good technical work. The graphics have enhanced the impact of the climax sequence. Camera work and music also compliment the narrative.

The film revolves around a group of college students – Viji, Ganesh, Anand Raj, Satish and Raju who go to Bheemana Kuppe, a tourist spot near Sirsi in Uttara district, on a college trip. They stay in a guest house owned by Mary.
The fun trip turns into a nightmare when three students disappear. Viji seeks help from his influential father who puts political pressure on the authorities to find out the missing students.
Police Inspector Prathap is assigned the job. He lands up in Bheemana Kuppe and unravels the mystery of missing people.

Kurradu Telugu Movie Review :

Remake of Tamil superhit 'Polladhavan', 'Kurradu' is a film to watch out for. It's a film that is saved by a gripping narration, an intense screenplay coupled with the riveting performance of its lead Varun Sandesh, not to speak of the baddies' who pitch in equally powerful acting.
The film launches lover boy Varun in a new vista and he glows like a star in it. You will be surprised to know that Varun is a good fit in a violence-significant film. No more mere lovey-dovey stories for this talent - Varun can ably deliver in a semi-action based movie and get our laurels.
The creative quotient is satisfactory. Coming to the story, Varun (Varun Sandesh), the son of a middle-class man Tanikella Bharani, is fit for nothing in the beginning. Though he wants to do something with his life, he knows he cannot get a job, just as he could not get a costly education, as his father is not someone who can bribe babus for a job to his son. On the night of his birthday, he spills out his frustration to his father who beats him for consuming liquor. Life changes for the good the next morning, when Bharani (good performance, as usual) gives away the sum he has saved for the daughter's wedding to Varun.
The lad, who has been dreaming of owning a bike, gets one and whizzes off in life. A lucky talisman for him, he develops an emotional attachment to it as he sees it as the reason for his upward mobility. After it entered his life, he has got everything he had desired- father's affection, a job and Hema's (Neha Sharma) love for which he has been thirsting for two years now.
But there is more to what meets the eye. In an ironic twist, the same 'charm' turns out to be his nightmare. The society where Varun is fulfilling his ordinary dreams, is also the play field for drug-peddlers and ganja mafia, headed by Satya (Ravi Shankar P) and Bullet. The leitmotif is, of course, the bike. The innocent job-holder at a private bank is dragged into a bestial world. So long effeminate, he now turns gutsy and grudges Satya's disaffected brother Ravi. Unlike his nemesis, all Varun wants is his bike back. In no time, events spiral in such a way that he has to put up a fight for his life and save his family.

Terrific screenplay indeed. Scenes are so skilfully conceptualised that you will not blink your eyes. The story of how a no-nonsense middle-class youth finishes an illegitimate empire, not always by himself, is a brilliant idea. His tenacity wows Satya, who himself can massacre murderers single-handedly. He is Ravi's psychological trauma. Superbly written character, you will hum.

Finding Jajat is simply not enough as he will get married with the girl of his choice, Lilis. Lilis eventually discovers Cindy’s intention and decides to avoid Jajat. The Missing Person Hollywood Movie Review:

The last great film noir was A Touch of Evil, made 51 years ago. But the genre has never lost its allure and every now and then a filmmaker attempts a neo-noir, some succeeding famously (Chinatown, Body Heat) but most lacking the soul of the classic noirs from the 40's and 50's.

In The Missing Person, director Noah Buschel tries valiantly to recreate the original genre. First, the classic protagonist: Hot star Michael Shannon (Reservation Road) plays John Rosow, a chain-smoking, gin-soaked private detective living in a run-down apartment next to the Chicago L. Then the familiar set-up. A stranger calls and offers way too much money to do what sounds like a simple job. And finally, the twisted tale: Rosow, a former street-smart New York cop, smells something rotten, but is spurred by the money and the conviction that he will be able to outplay the other players.
Shannon makes an intriguing protagonist, grizzled and degenerate but with just enough heart and humanity to make him sympathetic. Unfortunately, the weight of the movie falls entirely on his shoulders. The plot winds its way, with a steady stream of surprises and revelations, but none of them particularly compelling. The secondary characters, especially the perfunctory love-interest, are underdeveloped. And so, despite Shannon's heroic efforts, the film stumbles, and ultimately is tripped up by incredulity and apathy.

Mammoth Hollywood Movie Review :

Mammoth, the English-language debut from acclaimed Swedish indie director Lukas Moodysson is an intriguing, but ultimately flawed attempt to deal with the weighty themes of Third World poverty and the consequences of global capitalism. It’s a valiant effort to combine social commentary with individual circumstances and personal dramas, but ultimately it bites off more than it can chew.

Set in New York, Thailand and the Philippines, Mammoth is an ambitious socio-political statement, wrapped up in the trappings of glossy production values. It tells the story of a wealthy family from New York: computer games wizard Leo (Gael Garcia Bernal), his wife Ellen (Michelle Williams), their young daughter Jackie (Sophie Nyweide) and their Filipino nanny Gloria (Marife Necesito).
Leo owns a successful computer games company and goes to Thailand to complete a major business deal. Meanwhile, his wife is a busy doctor with little time for her daughter, and so both parents rely heavily upon Gloria. However, as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Gloria herself is only working as a nanny in order to provide a better life for her two sons back home and that she finds it increasingly difficult to live such a distance away from them. Divided between the three locations, the story encompasses a varied cast of characters which includes Gloria’s two sons and a Thai bar-girl named Cookie, who represents yet another unsavory aspect of the exploitative relationship between the West and the Third World – prostitution.
In tackling such themes as these in the way he has chosen to with Mammoth, Moodysson is setting himself up for a fall. The film can’t help but be moralising, a little sanctimonious, even patronising. Yes, we know about the West’s exploitation of the Third World in the name of globalisation. Yes, we know that it is the children who suffer as a result. And yes, we know that we are all implicated on some level. But for this type of social commentary to work, we must care enough about the characters and frankly this is the problem with Mammoth.

Acting was a new experience for me. If I had more time, I would have done better", said Hero from the music group TVXQ at a news conference after the screening of the movie "Postman to Heaven" onNovember 9.

As the second telecinema production, which is produced both as a movie and TV drama, "Postman to Heaven" was directed by Lee Hyeong-min, who also directed "Sorry, I Love You". The script was written by Eriko Kitakawa, who also wrote the Japanese TV drama "Long Vacation", starring Takuya Kimura.

"Postman to Heaven" is about a young entrepreneur who embarks on delivering letters to paradise from people who cannot forget the deceased. One day he meets a woman who joins his cause. Hero plays the postman Jae-jun. "It was difficult for me to portray feelings because it was my first time acting. We were able to complete the shoot without problems thanks to thedirector and Hyo-joo, who helped a lot", said Hero.

On the question whether the other TVXQ members supported him as an actor, Hero said, "When we were filming the movie, TVXQ was preparing for a comeback. My bandmates were too busy to provide me with advice. But U-Know and Chang-min, who are very interested in acting, encouraged me to do my best".

Actress Han Hyo-joo, who plays opposite Hero and portrays a woman who regains her ability to love after meeting Jae-jun, said that she decided to take this role because she was attracted to the telecinema genre. "In terms of the plot and emotions, this production is reminiscent of a fairy tale, but it strikes a chord in my heart more than a well-written novel or essay", said Han.

Two members of the boy band Big Bang have been cast in the TV movie "19-Nineteen".

This isn't the first time the two Big Bang members have been on screen.

T.O.P. (Choi Seung-hyeon), the oldest in the band, debuted in the 2007 KBS-TV drama "I Am Sam" and is currently shooting KBS-TV's "IRIS".

Seung Ri, the youngest in the group, was the main character in the musical "Sonagi" last year.
He also appeared in "Why Did You Come to My House - Movie", a movie starring Kang Hye-jeong released last month.

"19-Nineteen", a movie with stories by Japanese writers filmed by Korean directors, talks about three 19-year-olds involved in a murder.

The singers will be playing the young students along with Korean actress Heo Yi-jae.
But acting isn't the only thing that T.O.P. (Choi Seung-hyeon) and Seung Ri have been working on for this movie.

According to the film's director, Jang Yong-woo, the two young men have each written songs for the soundtrack as well.
Both of them performed their songs on the stage Wednesday, T.O.P. (Choi Seung-hyeon), a rap song, while Seung Ri, a sad ballad.
