Item songs are turning out to be the flavour of the season. After the runaway success of ‘munni badnaam…’ and ‘sheela kie jawan…’, many actresses have started thinking to give it a try. But it seems item numbers have not impressed Sonakshi Sinha, as she has said that she is not comfortable to do the same.
Sonakshi Sinha, who shot to fame with Dabangg, recently performed at a stage show for the song ‘munni badnaam hui’. Probably, this has lead to the rumours that she will be soon doing an item song in her upcoming film Joker. Clarifying the rumours the actress said that an item number requires boldness and the actress thinks that she is not bold enough.
However, the actress has two big projects in her hands. One in Bollywood, where she has paired Akshay Kumar in Shirish Kunder’s Joker and other in Tamil project, which will feature Kamal Hassan in the lead role.

After battling many guidos and sea urchins on the Jersey Shore, Snooki has finally decided she's ready for some real competition and no longer wants to play games of who can make it look like they're using a treadmill at the gym without actually using it. So on March 14th, she'll appear on WWE's Monday Night Raw, where she'll either fight someone, crash into a stationary fold-up chair, or just dance around comfortably while picturing that everyone in the audience is her beloved croc. If there's one thing I never thought I'd see, it's Kee-dollar-sign-hah (or Ke$ha if you're no fun) promoting safe things. I figured we'd see the introduction of a bottle-shaped glitter-encrusted toothbrush with a button that plays "When I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack" while it dispenses whiskey-flavored tooth goo or maybe caffeine pills with her face stamped on them marketed as "candy ecstasy" or stencils to help you draw things like lightning bolts or cartoon penises on your face in glitter; I did not think she'd be putting her image on condom wrappers to promote safe sex at her concerts. That is actually pretty shocking.
But it's true. She's doing something kind of responsible. Ke$ha is putting her face on condoms that she'll hand out at her concerts to help people remember the "no glove, no love" rule. That's funny, last time I checked a drunk girl stumbling around in her little brother's t-shirt covered in rips, tears and mystery stains and enough face paint and glitter to run an entire craft fair on her face wasn't exactly something that whipped people into a sexual frenzy. I think Ke$ha's (probably completely fake) drunken antics are enough to convince youngsters to abstain from sex, drugs and rock and roll. She's kind of like a walking PSA.

Movie Plot Summary: Isadora and Enrique live a comfortable life. They have a modest yet elegant apartment in Santiago's old downtown district complete with a lovely terrace and mountain views. Well into their 80's, they both maintain their independence and love their life and most of all their beloved two ample cats. That is until, one day,the building's elevator breaks and unable to descend the ten flights down, Isadora is left a prisoner in her own home. At the same inconvenient time, Isadora's greedy "wild child" daughter Rosario and her butch female lover, Hugo, come for a visit with a new "scheme" of how to make them all rich. The one glitch is that the elderly couple must sign over the lease to them.This looks to be a great dark movie.
Isadora,70’s, discovers that her mind is quickly fading. At an apparently relaxed dinner table, she will desperately try to hide her state from her daughter, a demanding woman who awaits any sign of senility in order to take way everything she has.
Movie Old Cats review: The new film, playing here in the Spotlight section at Sundance, doesn’t contain the dramatic fireworks of the previous pic, but art-house patrons will appreciate its acute attention to detail in its portrayal of a toxic mother-daughter relationship.
The mother, Isadora, played by one of Chile’s biggest theatrical stars, Belgica Castro, is rapidly declining into senility. “I got lost,” she cries to her husband Enrique (Alejandro Sieveking) when he returns to find the apartment nearly flooded by an untended tap. She drifts in and out of reality but is at the tragic stage where she can still comprehend what is happening to her.
On this particular day, the building’s elevator has broken down, trapping the frail woman on the 10th floor. Then her black-sheep daughter Rosario shows up with her female lover, who goes by the name of Hugo — the two played by Claudia Celedon and Catalina Saavedra, who also starred in The Maid.
The film’s biggest challenge to audiences is to find any way to empathize with Rosario. A coke-snorting conniver, she isn’t in the flat long before she has kicked one of the cats and slapped her mother. You are led to believe that the mother’s poor parenting and lack of intimacy with her daughter helped to create this disturbed personality, but even so — elder and animal abuse?
Rosario’s latest plan is to convince her mother to sign over the lease to the flat in a get-rich-quick scheme. Isadora’s refusal triggers her daughter’s hysterics that even her girlfriend, no stranger to coke either, struggles to contain.
The third act — the film does feel like a play — finally escapes the apartment confines when the “lost” woman somehow descends the many stairs to wander the streets. The desperation to find Isadora feels very real, but the final resolution — a somehow contrived move toward forgiveness on everyone’s part that seems imposed on the material — feels just the opposite.
Silva and Pierano again create a drama that acts like a documentary as the camera observes intimate human behavior within a family apartment that becomes a war zone. The dark humor comes from the startling outbursts and escalation of erratic behavior that one immediately recognizes as the kind of thing that only happens within family life. One treats friends or even strangers with much more civility.
