Jeeva Kannada Film Review :

P2 Productions ‘Jeeva’ is having a very well written screenplay to make it stimulating to the masses. The misplacement of records in the hospital although an age old concept is used in this film ‘Jeeva’ and there are very impressive situations featuring Prajwal Devaraj. For the first time Prajwal shoulders a very heavy load on his shoulders in his career and this could be said as his career best performance too.

Although the film joggles at places it is jaunty in most of the scenes for the thrill lovers. Yet the director in his debut Prabhu Srinivas could have avoided a song (Shraddha Sharma item dance) and some college scenes to make it tight in his screenplay.
Jeeva (Prajwal) is ready to give his life for Jayanthi (Ruthwa). This is especially after a bashing in the college the irritated Jayanthi lashes in words to Jeeva. ‘You don’t become a good student but you become a good human being’ she yells at him and that changes the attitude of Jeeva. Jeeva is the son of a minister and Jayanthi is the daughter of an insurance agent obviously has the barricade of rich and poor plus and upper and lower caste. For the transformation of his son Jeeva the Minister (played by Chandrasekhar) is ready to over look his position. A sudden development changes the whole cozy atmosphere. Jeeva takes an extremely opposite decision on his engagement day shocks everyone. For this the glaring mistake of a doctor is responsible. Jeeva is under the impression that he is having a few days left out in life as he is suffering from the brain tumor.

But the fact is that there is another patient of the same name and this exchange of records has put Jeeva to take such drastic decision. He leaves the company of his friends, quarrel with his father and remains isolate. But the twists are not yet over. Jeeva comes to know about this fact and realizing the costly mistake the doctor takes responsibility to reshape the life of Jeeva.
Prajwal shines in emotions, romance, action and dance. He has good contents from this film. He is very circumspect and delivers his career best performance. Ruthwa looks good in some angles but she has miles to travel. Rangayana Raghu, Chandrasekhar and Gurudut have given good support.
There are three songs scored by eminent music director Gurukiran that are worth hearing again. Beku Beku Nange Neene Beku…, Summane Yaake Bandhe Minchanthe Nanna Mundhe….and Seledhe Heegeke Nee Nanna…are impressive tunes and sung well. Sabha Kumar getting good name from ‘Psycho’ Kannada film has once again given a splendid job in his camera. This Movie Links With Review Thousands of people think same so download and watch movies whenever and wherever they want. Gokula Kannada Film Review :

The second of the film is over loaded with emotions and for realizing the flaws the simple approach was needed. The first half is with usual introduction of characters that is quite funny. What happened to Prakash one of the intelligent directors ofKannada cinema? He fails to generate a pleasant screenplay first and the developments especially in the second half have gone out of his control it seems. That may be because of foursome he is caught up with.

The foursome is troublesome! Raja, N Raja, Shankar and Guru (Vijay Raghavendra, Yash, Raghuraj and Pawan) are very naughty once they come out from the orphan house. The style of living to educate them is on a wrong path. They make the habit of stealing and living. Among the four it is Raja who is emotionally attached to an aged couple because they have a photograph of him in the house. That photo is again a fumble made by a painter who writes the advanced age photograph of a six year old boy remembering Raja the passer by he had seen. The aged couple believes that had the son lived he would have been like Raja and so offer rain of happiness for him. Raja demands his pals to follow him.

The aged couple (played by Srinivasamurthy and Sumithra) living in a posh bungalow worth Rs.20 crore is the target of a local rowdy Kaale. Kaale catch Raja for meeting his ends and the foursome with an eye on two percent of Rs.20 crore make a costly mistake to get the papers signed from old couple. Once the papers of the property reach Kaale he is astonished as the entire property is transferred to Raja’s name. Furious with this Kaale orders for killing of the aged person (Srinivasamurthy). The foursome realizes at this stage the big mistake but their attempt to save the life goes in vain. Then it is a big clash and big admission from foursome in the public place of their flaws.
Vijay Raghavendra has given a well measured performance. Yash is in a hurricane role, Raghuraj and Pawan are funny to watch. Pooja Gandhi has blown up in her physique and acting is pleasant. The newcomer Nakshtra steals the show with her brief presence. It is Srinivasamurthy and Sumithra the veteran in the aged couple roles gather good recognition for their performance.
Mano Murthy the stalwart now in the Kannada film music gives two lilting tunes Aramage Idhe Naanu…sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Goshal for Jayanth Kaikini lyrics and the other one the solo song of Sonu Ningam Neene Helu Nannadhavudhu…written by Jayanth Kaikini are to class in lyrics and scoring. This Movie Links With Review Thousands of people think same so download and watch movies whenever and wherever they want. The Last Station Hollywood Movie Synopsis :

The film, based on Jay Parini's 1990 novel, explores the turbulent final year in the life of the Russian writer and philosopher Tolstoy and his troubled marriage to wife, Sofia.
Story's general dynamics are easy to grasp. In his energetic old age -- in 1910, he's still writing and riding horseback -- the most revered author of his time (Plummer) lives on a grand if disorderly country estate and presides from a distance over a quasi-political cult in which young adherents do farm labor while trying to adhere to tenets of Tolstoyan philosophy such as pacifism, social equality, vegetarianism and celibacy, rules the lusty old man personally admits difficulty in adhering to.

The central issue at home, however, is the status of Tolstoy's will as regards the custody of his literary estate. Long assumed to be the provenance of his wife, the Countess Sofya (Mirren), it's now being claimed by Tolstoy's chief disciple, Chertkov (Paul Giamatti), as the rightful property of the Russian people. Very close, he believes, to getting the old man to sign away his life's work to the public domain, Chertkov engages the fastidious, worshipful young Valentin (James McAvoy) to become the writer's new assistant and Chertkov's spy, obliged to record and report everything said in the fraught household.

Writer-director Michael Hoffman, working from a novel by Jay Parini, keeps things bustling in the busy household and wrings droll humor from the way Tolstoy's most innocuous remarks are all recorded by slavish transcribers, while numerous cameramen are posted outside to document his movements for all time (some real-life snippets are played with the end titles). The awestruck Valentin is warmly welcomed by the writer, who, in Plummer's seductive, appealingly naturalistic performance, instantly emerges as a real man, not as a self-important legend. This Tolstoy does not need his ego bolstered by flatterers and sycophants; well aware of his status, he turns attention back on those around him. There is, impressively, virtually no ham in Plummer's work here, just stature and humanity.
Tolstoy loves his wife, but she occupies another realm altogether. A devotee of Italian opera, she adores melodrama and injects it into her daily life whenever she believes it applies, which is often.
She has given her husband 13 children in their 48-year marriage and helped him immeasurably with his work, copying out "War and Peace" six times. So she seems justifiably pained by her husband's willingness to be influenced by his "boyfriend" Chertkov, who, in his zealous rigidity, seems a picture-perfect premature communist ideologue as he brands the countess a bourgeois crazy woman.

Threaded between this pitched battle is Valentin's struggle to remain a pure Tolstoyan, a battle he loses shortly after meeting the writer's hedonistic daughter Masha (Kerry Condon) at the commune. After the initial seduction, however, their relationship becomes rather rote and uninteresting.

Santau Malaysian Movie Review :

After 33 previous films, looks like the local prolific powerhouse that is Metrowealth Movies Production (or more often credited as Metrowealth International Group, MIG) has finally got it right. With the release of "Santau", Malaysian cinema can finally boast of a projected box office shockbuster that is solid as it is sound, and one that can travel regionally as a credible and entertaining supernatural horror flick, immediately bettering those pocong and kuntilanak efforts that pour in all too easily to these shores from neighbouring Indonesia.
Like watching a movie adapted from a Stephen King book, "Santau" combines an ancient Malay occult practice with a tight story, decent editing, convincing traditional FX and an able cast lineup to offer a complete movie experience that is frankly woefully missing in part or in whole from previous MIG movies such as "Jangan Pandang Belakang" and "Congkak". This time around, sudden loud noises, constant shrieking and overdone look-behind-you shots take a backseat to proper character development and scene resolution as we follow a married couple and their daughter who are all hexed by an unknown enemy with black magic prowess.

Newcomer Putri Mardiana may have a slightly limited range of emotions but eating live maggots and other physically challenging possession scenes make her an actress to look out for in upcoming projects. Her nervous housewife character Nina is the chief accursed and she is well supported by Esma Danial as the desperate husband Halim, while young Farisha Fatin gets an introduction as their confused child. At any point if the inconsistent performances by these actors threaten to show, all is well covered by a progressive story with complementing camerawork and some truly macabre makeup and special effects. Riezman Khuzaimi, Zul Handy Black and Bob Lokman also star in supporting roles. However, perhaps it is greenhorn director Azhari Zain and his immediate crew who are to be lauded for this wonderfully scripted effort.
Complete with customary twist and an extended climax overkill in exorcism ritual (not to mention without the token romantic subplots and other useless cinegredients that plague local horrors), "Santau" is chillingly effective like a local "Drag Me To Hell" and isn't too far off from being the best thing Malaysia can yet hold up to classics like "Exorcist" and "Poltergeist". This will be an intense hair-raiser you won't be embarrassed for enjoying and getting the demon scared into you in all its violent, bitter black glory.Watch online Movie Trailer free Santau Malaysian film. The film Directed by Azhari Mohd Zain. This Movie Links With Review Thousands of people think same so download and watch movies whenever and wherever they want. Invictus Hollywood Movie Synopsis :

The true story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with the captain of South Africa's rugby team, Francois Pienaar, to help unite their country. Newly elected President Mandela knows his nation remains racially and economically divided in the wake of apartheid. Believing he can bring his people together through the universal language of sport, Mandela rallies South Africa's underdog rugby team as they make an unlikely run to the 1995 World Cup Championship match.
Invictus is a film based on Nelson Mandela's life during the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa. A look at Nelson Mandela (Morgan Freeman) from the fall of apartheid. The story is about Mandela's release from prison, his election as President of South Africa and his attempts to use the 1995Rugby World Cup as a vehicle to bring his people together, after the fall of apartheid.

Led by their captain Francois Pienaar (Matt Damon), the South African team wins the tournament, upsetting the favourites New Zealand 15–12 in the final.
A look at life for Nelson Mandela after the fall of apartheid in South Africa during his first term as president when campaigned to host the 1995 Rugby World Cup event as an opportunity to unite his countrymen.

Invictus Hollywood Movie Review :

During his incarceration, Mandela studied his Afrikaner enemies and was wise to the role sports played in the national psyche. South Africa's less-than-sterling rugby team, the Springbok, was as beloved by whites as it was despised by the black population, to whom it had become a symbol of oppression. Yet Mandela, taking a huge political risk, refuses to give in to his supporters' demand that the team be dismantled and renamed. To do so, he sees, would only stoke fear and racial paranoia in the Afrikaner population. Enlisting the team's captain (Matt Damon) to his side, Mandela challenges him to turn its losing ways around. His goal is to use rugby to bridge the racial divide in his country.

Invictus is not a biopic; nor does it take us deep inside any of its characters—Eastwood views Mandela from a respectful middle distance. It's about strategic inspiration. We witness a politician at the top of his game: Freeman's wily Mandela is a master of charm and soft-spoken gravitas. Anthony Peckham's sturdy, functional screenplay, based on JohnCarlin 's book Playing the Enemy, can be a bit on the nose (and the message songs Eastwood adds are overkill). Yet the lapses fade in the face of such a soul-stirring story—one that would be hard to believe if it were fiction. The wonder of Invictus is that it actually went down this way. The Lovely Bones Hollywood Movie Synopsis :

On her way home from school on a snowy December day in 1973, 14-year-old Susie Salmon is lured into a makeshift underground den in a cornfield and brutally raped and murdered, the latest victim of a serial killer - the man she knew as her neighbor, Mr. Harvey. From heaven, Susie keeps watch over her grieving family and friends, as well as her brazen killer and the sad detective working on her case.Watch online Movie Trailer free The Lovely Bones Hollywood film. The film Directed by Peter Jackson .
An adaptation of the Alice Sebold best-selling novel, "The Lovely Bones" tells the story of Susie Salmon, who is murdered, but continues to observe her family on Earth after her death. Although she is detached from the world she once knew, Susie witnesses the impact of her loss on her loved ones, whilst her killer skillfully covers his tracks and prepares to murder again. In a tone that is both emotionally truthful, and darkly humorous, Susie tries to balance her desire for vengeance against the love she feels for her family and her need to see them heal; and ultimately comes to understand that the concept of family can encompass both the living and the dead.
Based on the critically acclaimed best-selling novel by Alice Sebold, and directed by Oscar® winner Peter Jackson from a screenplay by Jackson & Fran Walsh & Philippa Boyens, The Lovely Bones centers on a young girl who has been murdered and watches over her family and her killer from heaven.

She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal. Oscar® nominee Mark Wahlberg and Oscar® winners Rachel Weisz and Susan Sarandon star along with Stanley Tucci, Michael Imperioli and Oscar® nominee Saoirse Ronan.

The Lovely Bones Hollywood Movie Reviews :

The trick to The Lovely Bones, what made Alice Sebold's novel such a sneaky and elegant heartbreaker, is its matter-of-fact acceptance of its wild premise. It's all there in those two concise opening sentences: "My name was Salmon, like the fish; first name, Susie. I was 14 years old when I was murdered on December 6, 1973." There's room for sentiment in Sebold's novel, particularly near the end, but it's all presented in the almost-exasperated way a teenager might. Here is my crazy story. Make of it what you will.
What Peter Jackson has made of it, in his filmed version of The Lovely Bones, is a fantasia of colors and sound and cinematic motifs that pile on top of Susie's story and add absolutely nothing to it. Instead of carefully selecting strands from Sebold's sprawling novel, Jackson wanders around seemingly at random inside it, losing track of nearly every human story thread while spending indulgent minutes in Susie's heaven, a place that sometimes expands on her personality but more often resembles a generic computer desktop background. The film is a triumph of visual imagination over any story or substance, over-directed and over-acted and completely absent a beating heart.

While the book is told entirely in flashback after Susie's death, the film pauses in prologue to introduce us to the Salmon family: devoted and geeky dad Jack (Mark Wahlberg, miscast), mysterious mom Abigail (Rachel Weisz, underused), boozy Grandma (Susan Sarandon), and three kids, with Susie (Saiorsie Ronan) the oldest, then Lindsey (Rose McIver) and four-year-old Buckley. Susie is killed on her way home from school by neighbor George Harvey (Stanley Tucci), an oddball hobbyist who has meticulously built an underground hut in which to lure Susie, pressure her with his adult authority, then rape and kill her.
After a brief purgatory-esque visit with Mr. Harvey following the murder (not in the book, and utterly unnecessary), Susie is transported to heaven, where another little girl named Holly (Nikki SooHoo) accompanies her on whatever adventures they can imagine. Still, Susie is attached to earth, and watches as her father and sister become obsessed with finding her killer, her crush (Reece Ritchie) and a gloomy school friend (Carolyn Dando) grow closer, her mother drifts from the family, and Mr. Harvey continues living his lonely life undetected.
Jackson seems to be presenting the film as a murder mystery, as Susie futilely tries to encourage her sister and father to find her killer, and Mr. Harvey meticulously covers his tracks. But when vestigial, practically abandoned threads from the book aren't getting in the way-- Abigail's abandonment of her family, the entire character of Detective Len Fenerman-- Susie's heaven is. Packed with mountains and streams and trees that turn into birds, her heaven is spectacular but meaningless and constantly shifting. Sometimes scenes from earth show up in front of her as in a play, and other times giant symbols from her life hover in the distance; sometimes she believes she can change events on earth or even revisit it, and others she's insisting that she's powerless. Though she's the first-person narrator in the book, her presence in the movie feels almost pointless, and her struggle to accept her role in heaven feels very out of place with Jackson's horror movie treatment of the events back on earth.

It's hard to see the fluid storytelling and easy humor of the Lord of the Rings films in this movie, but The Lovely Bones is unmistakably Jackson's film, and rarely does he let you forget his presence behind the camera. Simple scenes are rarely unaccompanied by a flourish of sound or camera movement, and any time Jackson wants the audience to notice something-- a charm bracelet in the corner, a connection between two seemingly unrelated characters-- the point is pounded home with three or four cutaway shots. Clearly there's an attempt at subjective filmmaking here, allowing us to feel everything as intensely as Susie does trapped in her heaven, but the result simply panders to or entirely alienates the audience. By the end of the film it's impossible to tell who Susie is or what she wants-- she insists out loud several times that she's more than just "the dead girl," but any moviegoer unfamiliar with the book will find it impossible to see anything else in her.
The handful of moments that work in the film, like a montage of Susie playing around in heaven or Mr. Harvey's creepiest scenes, are quickly forgotten in the shambling narrative, and when the film wraps up in what's supposed to be triumphant closure, you barely feel that you know these people at all. A movie simply can't have the same lived-in feel as a novel, but all of Jackson's attempts at replicating it fall entirely flat. For fans of the novel, The Lovely Bones isn't just a misfire, but a sad, pale replication of something that should be elegant and deep.
There are great visual directors working in films and Peter Jackson is certainly one of them. But, for all his legendary work, he lacks the gene for self-editing. He just falls in love with his creations of beauty and lingers for days. Okay, minutes. It's as though he knows he's got you trapped inside his dramatic framework and now wants you to absorb the greatness of his work so that you'll never forget it.
He did this throughout his wonderful "Lord of the Rings" series to the detriment of natural story power. Its ending, in "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" becomes ludicrous in its extended romanticism until Jackson could finally let go and say bye, bye. One can easily picture him going into withdrawal after concluding the series and as the reality hit him that there would be no more daily call sheets.
So, it's no wonder that, for a delayed followup, he'd gravitate toward material that could give him the chance to use the technology that he has such command over. In order to do so, in the style to which he's accustomed us, though, he took an "almost coming-of-age story" that became a consumation-of-life story and made it surreal, which gave him the freedom to envelop us in unlimited dreamscapes, shifts of scene and segues a director dies for.
One wonders, though, if it was such a good idea to adapt a story with such a dark example of human depravity as a child murderer in order to create visual wizardry. Predictably, he spends time, detail and laborious creativity into something that would be better told with far greater economy. Wallowing in your own talent comes at a price.
Fourteen-year old Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan, ("Atonement") narrates in her essentially carefree, breezy manner, taking us through the settings of her life. We meet her beloved parents Jack and Abigail (Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz), her younger sister Lindsey (Rose McIver) and pre-teen bro' Buckley (Christian Ashdale). A good family. Solid. But, when she refers to her "murderer" it comes like a bolt from the blue. Just as intended.
Yes, this girl is dead. Or, almost dead. But she's not speaking to us from the grave so much as from a limbo quarter that exists between life and death. And this gives way to a dimension only a CGI artist can love and tickets Jackson for another long ride with his CGI homies.
The pallette on which Jackson applies his abundant imagination stems from Alice Sebold's best-selling novel. While the convention of a dead girl's spirit talking to us from heaven may seem fit for the written word where the reader's imagination is in play, turn it into a movie and the pictures you see are not those in your mind's eye, they're in the filmmaker's.
The results are as spectacular and over-extended as a "Ring" fan might expect. Susie's romp through her lush but painful limbo is accompanied by a score of constantly morphing, changing images much like those of a very vivid dream. It's idyllic to morose, light to heavy, brilliant, then dark. As Susie recalls what she experienced, gloom descends. As her parents refuse to break their tie to her, her path reverses course. This back and forth is milked by writer-director Jackson until it's rancid.
When he deals with the murderer--George Harvey, a neighbor whom the Salmons hardly think about--the story becomes so grossly horrid we almost can't stand the concentration on more detail than we ever thought we could assimilate in terms of the horror it aims for. Parents take note: if you were thinking your teenager would love this story of a teenager, think again. You might not want to expose your kids to the fear and disgust over sociopathic madness so excruciatingly brought to life by Stanley Tucci.
What Jackson wants to impress us with is prolongued and comes in a repetitive pattern. A two-hour film that would have benefited by thirty minutes less. A second-half that diminishes the first.
Eventually, the strength that the cast shows in their roles as a family is worn away in a tide of stereotype--and just when I was going to admire Wahlberg for his paternal role modeling, and remark on how beautiful Weisz is in her domestic duties. Susan Sarandon, as a grand mom who can shake it and shake up the household at will, provides the comedy relief, which is hard to come by with subject matter of such horrendous proportions, and she throws caution out the window as though she thinks it's better than cleaning it.
Ronan claims the spirit needed for all this and runs with it for all she's worth. We take pleasure in her lively disposition and lack of artifice from the get go. She sells the cheeriness with which the girl describes the horrific without making it seem like an off note. When she wrestles with the curiosity the neighbor man creates, while being pulled toward home because she's late for dinner, she evokes great sympathy for others of her age who have succumbed to predatory adults. Her range is further on display as she goes through dutiful changes while trapped in her celestial surreality.
Small wonder, then, that her performance here has created a buzz in terms of an Oscar nod. My take is that she's a worthy candidate for one, is likely to earn one, but won't win her category because of her age and the long, distinguished career she's laid for herself in these "Bones."
As for the excess of Jackson's creative predisposition, heaven help us.This Movie Links With Review Thousands of people think same so download and watch movies whenever and wherever they want. The Story Of
Rocket Singh - Salesman Of The Year :
Rocket Singh - Salesman Of The Year is about a salesman named Harpreet Singh Bedi (Ranbir Kapoor) who has just graduated, and his marks are, well, let's say a little embarrassing. But marks never stopped him from dreaming of an exciting and adventurous career, and they never will. He takes a deep, positive breath and dives into the world of sales, rumoured to be an ultra cool career for all smart people blocked from entering medical, engineering or business schools by brainless entrance exams. It's everything he dreamt of, with its smooth dressing, smoother talking men and women who can sell ice to an Eskimo, dreams to an insomniac, and a lifetime mobile connection to a dying man. But soon, his idea of success begins clashing with the strange ways of these 'professionals' and 'bosses' he looked up to.

The story is about how he slowly becomes a conman and how he starts operating a parallel company within the same company in which he is working without the knowledge of others.
