Whats going on in Katy Perry’s life? Well apart from her forthcoming wedding preparations with British comedian Russell Brand , the singer is also considering collaborating with Steve Madden to launch her own fashion label. The shoe king has been heard signing deals with several celebrities like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in the past, hence his association with Katy Perry did not come as a surprise to the entertainment and fashion circle. However, the talks are simply media reports and no official statement has been given by Steve Madden and Katy Perry themselves, neither have their representatives confirmed this piece of information.

If the collaboration is confirmed, this will be pop singer Katy Perry's first step in the world of fashion. And needless to say, the 25-year-old singer has as much been known for her colorful wardrobe as for her voice. Steve Madden, by himself, is a powerhouse of fashion known to have introduced the Olsenboye and Elizabeth and James clotheslines of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
