new studies it has been seen that men like to go for one night stand or they date women for fun whereas women date men looking forward to a long term relationship.

The study was done by Carolyn Bradshaw of James Madison University in Virginia, US. The study was conducted on 150 female and 71 men students in the college. They were exposed to variety of situations involving dating.

It was seen that as compared to men, women wanted the relationship more. The only fear women had was that whether the person was hooking up for fun or he really wanted to have a long term relationship. Women always want their partner to be emotionally attached to them and not be with them for fun.

Whereas on the other hand, men also feared that the women they are hooking up with, might want to have a relationship with them and they wanted to have independence.

The researchers said that 41% of the women wanted to have an emotionally attached relationship and 20% of men wanted dating as well whereas 2% of the women believed in hooking up and 17% of the men also believed in hooking up.
