After Jail Stay George Michael Wants to Start Afresh

British pop star George Michael walked out of prison after four weeks of punishment for driving under the effect of cannabis on Monday and promised to start afresh in life. Speaking from his home in North Lonbon, where he will spend another four weeks under house arrest, he described his four weeks of stay in jail as “inspirational” because it gave him the time to compose another number. Before the media could speculate, George Michael announced that his new song will not deal with his prison term. The British star was housed at the Highpoint prison in the eastern part of England.
George Michael was caught driving under the influence of drugs, last month and was sentenced to four weeks in jail and another four weeks on license on the 14th of September. The singer also had to pay a fine and will not be allowed to drive a car for the next five years. However, George Michael had nothing to complain about his term in prison. Saying that he never suffered from sleepless nights, and there was nobody to disturb him in any which way, the singer almost sounded like he had changed his entire outlook towards life.
George Michael has a history of drug cases to his name. Earlier in the year 2007, the pop star had to undergo 100 hours of community service and stay away from the driver’s seat for two years for engaging in drug abuse while driving. But with a Grammy Award and a sale of more than 100 million albums to his name, George Michael is undoubtedly the king of pop.
