The theatres screening Rajinikanth starrer movie Endhiran in Bangalore have been raided by the Karnataka Commercial Tax department. Most these theatres had hiked the ticket price by up to three times and owners of these theatres have been slapped with a fine of Rs 5 lakh.

The Tax department held the raids to check for tax evasion after it was hinted that theatres screening Enthiran had hiked the admission rates without taking prior approval.
