Actor Morgan Freeman recently spoke with MTV Splash Page, where he indicated that there may be more than one villain in the highly-anticipated sequel Batman 3. Here's an excerpt from the site's article:" There's been talk of the Riddler, the Joker - I don't mean the Joker - the Penguin. Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin, and that sounds interesting to me. So we'll wait and see. And there just may be more than one."
Morgan Freeman also mentioned Catwoman and referenced, "The Freezer," as in Mr. Freeze, who was previously portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1997 movie Batman & Robin. He also said, however, that Catwoman and Mr. Freeze might not be the main villains chosen for Batman 3.
We also reported last month that Batman 3 would start shooting in May, news which was confirmed by Morgan Freeman:
"No I don't really know anything at all. I've heard what you've heard. Spring."
Batman 3 comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.
