It was reported earlier that Shiv Sena and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) were unhappy with the participation of the Pakistani artistes in the reality show Bigg Boss 4 on Colors. Around 50 Sainiks staged a protest outside the Bigg Boss house situated in Lonavla.
The Sainiks, claimed that they had managed to ransack the studio when the guards tried to stop them from entering. However, the admin and the channel officials denied any such incident dismissing it to be “ridiculous”.
A source confirmed it is impossible for them to ransack the Bigg Boss house as it is heavily guarded by the police. It added that the Sainiks were immediately arrested and proper actions were taken against them. The police said that 24 Sainiks were detained under Section 68 of Bombay Police Act and are also served with notices under Section 149 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
Few months ago, Shiv Sena tried to object the participation of Pakistani Kids in Chhote Ustaad and Pakistani comedian Shakeel Siddiqui in Comedy Circus. Though these protests have not yielded any success for the Shiv Sena and the MNS, nevertheless, has only added up to the shows TRPs.
