Kevin Pollak has confirmed via his Twitter account that he has joined Kevin Smith's horror film Red State.In the film, a group of kids encounter a crazed preacher (based on Fred Phelps, founder of the Westboro Baptist Church) who gives a whole new meaning to the term 'extreme fundamentalism'.
Filming is scheduled to start on September 22.
Red State comes to theaters in 2011 and stars Dermot Mulroney, Michael Angarano, Kyle Gallner, Stephen Root, Melissa Leo, Michael Parks. The film is directed by Kevin Smith.
