London, Sep 8: Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen will be meeting on Wednesday, Sep 8 for the first time since the England striker's sexcapades came out in the open last Sunday, Sep 5.

According to the British media, the future of the celebrity couple depends on this "make or break" meeting.

Mrs Rooney has agreed to meet for talks after her husband flies back from Switzerland, where he played Euro Championship qualifier on tuesday, Sep 7 night, scoring England’s first goal, Daily Mail reported.

The devastated wife of the footballer is learnt to have made the decision to meet her husband to listen to his side of the story as she believes that she own it to their two-year marriage and their 10-month-old son Kai.

Most importantly, sources revealed, Coleen wants to know the extent of his liaisons with 21-year-old Jennifer Thompson, 1200 pounds-a-night hooker known as Juicy Jeni.

The media also caught Mrs Rooney in the public on Tuesday, Sep 7 for the first time since the revelations. Even though smartly dressed, Coleen looked exhausted and kept her marriage ring covered under a scarf, said reports.

The Rooney sex scandal emerged last week when tabloids such as News of the World and Sunday Mirror reported on the footballer's affair, which began in June 2009.

Ronney is reported to have met his mistress last in Manchester in Oct 2009, a month before Coleen gave birth to their first son Kai.
