Movie Story:
'Vilai' - 'The Cost' is all about a girl who is confined in red light area. A youth played by Bharani comes from a village to Chennai to join his sister in the college. One day all of a sudden the girl disappears. A brothel running gang kidnaps his sister. Sadika , a new face is playing the role of the sister.

'Vilai' completed its shooting in 48 days and stunt scenes were shot in a very realistic way where Bharani and stunt masters, clashed really and no dupes were used.
