Guess what? It’s a big surprise from director Shankar as he assures of completing his next film within a short span of 6-7months. Director Shankar’s films usually get along for a longer duration of not less than couple of years. It’s patently for his unique grandiloquence’s prevalent both in his technical and narrative panoramas.

But this time, he’s sure to strike with a surprise of delivering the same grand ornamentations, but at a different style. According to cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa, he has assured that Shankar will be completing his ‘3 Idiots’ by 6 months as producers have planned to release the film in April-May 2011.

In a recent interview, cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa has mentioned that Shankar’s remake project will be a quickie, but will have the same rich grandness as in his previous movies. It looks like Jeeva and Arya will be playing the other lead characters along with Vijay as Simbhu and Maddy have walked out of the film.
