Finally the suspense is over. The silver jubilee function of Dr. Vishnuvardhan starrer Aaptha Rakshaka directed by P. Vasu would be held on September 18, the birthday of Kannada film industry’s legendary actor who breathed his last year on December 30. The film’s producer Krishna Prajwal has at last decided to organise this silver jubilee function on September 18 to be held at Kanteerava Indoor Stadium.

According to sources more than 240 shields are now under preparation which includes shields to be distributed to various artists and technicians who had worked for the film and also the distributors and theatre owners screening the film. Ms. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan would also be present in the function.

A few of Dr. Vishnu fans are also suggesting that the function be held on September 19, Sunday. That is because a large number of fans would be visiting Dr. Vishnu Samadhi on that day and will also be participating in many functions like Anna Dhaana, Blood Donation and other programmes.
