Comedic actor David Koechner has been offered a role in the upcoming horror sequel Final Destination 5, according to Bloody-Disgusting.

The site is also reporting that Nicholas D'Agosto, Ellen Wroe and Meghan Ory have been cast in the film. Miles Fisher and Arlen Escarpeta had signed onto the film earlier, which is said to open with a disaster involving a suspension bridge.

Steven Quale will be directing the film from a script by Eric Heisserer. No production schedule was given but the film is already slated for release on August 26, 2011. We'll be sure to keep you posted with any new information as soon as we have it.
