Barbican Theatre to stage slumber party

London's Barbican Theatre is to stage a show which involves the audience changing into their nightwear, brushing their teeth and sleeping over.
Lullaby, produced by the Duckie theatre company, will transform the venue's Pit theatre into a bedroom complete with en suite bathroom cubicles.
Storytelling and cradle song will be followed by a night's sleep and a breakfast the next morning.
The show is due to take place for a month from next June.
Producer Simon Casson said the show would be "reassuring and very, very cosy".
"Every time I go to the theatre I fall asleep, so I thought why don't we embrace that idea and make a show that deliberately sends people to sleep?" he added.
The production is dubbed "a moonlit soporific serenade followed by seven hours of slow-wave sleep rounded-off by breakfast to send you on your way".
Single, double and triple beds will be installed in the theatre.
Tickets for the overnight experience are priced at £42 and are due to go on sale next month.
