20th Century Fox is in talks with Darren Aronofsky to direct X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2, reports Vulture, however it is not a sure thing, as the director has also been offered Tales from the Gangster Squad from Warner Bros.Darren Aronofsky was interested in directing Superman, but as was reported yesterday, Zack Snyder has assumed that role. So today, Darren Aronofsky's reps have begun negotiations with Fox to put him behind the camera for X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Hugh Jackman.
