At a time when the Kannada films are fried out by audience on Fridays this week three more films are adding up. The three years old Jothegara, the 9 years old subject ‘Eno Onthara’ (remake of Kushi Telugu film) and 21 years old subject ‘Nanjangud Nanjunda’ (remake of 1989 Malayalam film ‘Vadakkunokki Yanthram made as Dindigal Sarathy Tamil in 2008) are conquering the silver screen.
For the Gowri and Ganesha Festival (11th of September 2010) of three only ‘Jothegara’ is said to be with original script. It is directed by an outsider from Tamil Nadu Sigamani. Sujith Shetty has scored music for this Premkumar and Ramya starring film. Ashwini Productions was in all sorts of trouble in bringing it to the silver screen. The banner has made ‘Jogi’ a blockbuster and a super flop film ‘Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe’.
‘Nanjangud Nanjunda’ a remake of Dindigal Sarathy is all about a suspicious husband as his wife looks very charming in the locality. Ravishanker, Hamsini play lead roles in this film in ‘NN’ directed by Srinivasa Prasad who directed ‘Prachanda Ravana’ last year. Ravichandra has scored the music. Suresh is the cameraman. VK Jindal and Subash Coorg are the producers.
‘Eno Onthara’ starring golden star Ganesh and Priyamani in the direction of Mussanje Mahesh for producer Chandrasekhar is another fun loving film that has top music director V Harikrishna songs. PKH Doss is the cameraman.
