Eva Mendes Makes a Sex Tape
The Miami-born actress, Eva Mendes, has indeed become the latest star to appear in a sex tape. But before all you red-blooded males high-tail it off this site and look elsewhere for said video, we must reveal that Ms Mendes' tape is actually a spoof commercial for comedy clip website, Funny or Die.
In the clip, the actress - who you'll next see alongside Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in the comedy The Other Guys on 2 September - tries her hand at infomercials to promote her own brand of duct tape called - S.EX. Tape.
The video begins with Mendes seen fumbling around in night vision - a la Paris Hilton's infamous sex tape - before the lights come on and we learn that she's not promoting a bedroom romp, but rather a tape (geddit... actual tape).
"[People] want a tape that Secures things EXtremely well – S.EX. tape!" says Mendes over some cheesy advert music. The actress also concedes that English isn't her first language, but figured there was money to be made when she saw that "Eva Mendes sex tape" was a highly searched Google term even before the product existed.
"Now, English isn't my first language," Mendes says, "but it doesn't take a genius to know what tape is!"
