Joining Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan and Bryan Cranston in the indie action thriller.

Mad Men's Christina Hendricks Takes Drive

Mad Men's curvy redhead Christina Hendricks has joined the indie pic Drive, starring opposite Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan.

According to Variety, Albert Brooks, Bryan Cranston and Oscar Isaacs also star.

Nicolas Winding Refn is directing the action thriller.

Based on James Sallis' crime novel of the same name and adapted by scribe Hossein Amini, Drive revolves around a Hollywood stunt drive (Ryan Gosling) who moonlights as a getaway driver in L.A.'s criminal underworld. He finds himself a target after agreeing to aid the ex-con boyfriend of his beautiful neighbor (Carey Mulligan) in a job that goes dangerously awry. The only way he can keep her safe and stay alive is to do what he does best: drive.

Principal photography begins Sept. 25 in Los Angeles.

Drive comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Ryan Gosling, Bryan Cranston, Carey Mulligan, Albert Brooks, Christina Hendricks. The film is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn.
