Patrick Swayze the legendary actor was one of the foremost supporters for ‘Dancing with the Stars’. One year after the death of her Dirty Dancing costar Jennifer Grey fondly remembered her talented co star. Jennifer Grey is going to be a part of the dance reality TV show as it makes its way into Season 11.In a recent interview, Grey said, “Patrick was one of the most fearless people I’ve ever met.” Patrick lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in September 14, 2009. Jennifer revealed that she was herself diagnosed with an early stage of cancer about a year back but now she is in perfect shape.
“When I first decided to consider doing the show, I went to get my neck checked,” said the star, she was referring to a neck injury caused by a nasty car accident in 1987. The actress explained that her surgeons noticed a lump in her neck and decided to remove it. After a half of the tumor was removed it was found to be cancerous in nature, so the doctors decided to remove the entire tumorous growth.
Jennifer, who has joined the small group of cancer survivors, said that Patrick was a beacon of hope even when he was dealing with the dangers of pancreatic cancer. Jennifer claims that Swayze's fight has inspired her to compete at 'Dancing with the Stars'. Let’s hop
