Apple has just debuted the first trailer for the upcoming movie The Fighter, which will be released in theaters nationwide on December 10. Click below for your first glimpse at this biopic from David O. Russell, which focuses on boxer Mickey Ward (Mark Wahlberg) and his half-brother/trainer, Dicky (Christian Bale):



The Fighter is a drama about Irish boxer Micky Ward's unlikely road to the world light welterweight title. His Rocky-like rise was shepherded by half-brother Dicky, a boxer-turned-trainer who rebounded in life after nearly being KO'd by drugs and crime.

The Fighter comes to theaters December 10th, 2010 and stars Christian Bale, Mark Wahlberg, Amy Adams, Melissa Leo, Dendrie Taylor, Jack McGee, Jenna Lamia, Bianca Hunter. The film is directed by David O. Russell.
