Shaji N. Karun's film Kutty Srank starring Mammootty, Kamalini Mukherjee, Padmapriya and Meena Kumari bagged National Film Award for Best Feature Film.

Kutty Srank is about three women who live with their love. One day, they find an unidentified body lying beside seashore and claim that it is the body of their lover. The film also features actors like Suresh Krishna, Sai Kumar, Siddique, Valsala Menon and others.
