Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is very upset with the electronic media for distorting his comments on the proposed Metro rail segment that will pass by his home Prateeksha in Mumbai. He has hit back at the media on Twitter for presenting his comments in bad light.

Amitabh has received lots of flak from political parties like Shiv Sena, Congress and MNS for his comment 'So bye bye privacy and hello fellow traveller'. Now, he has sarcastically attacked the media by thanking them for sensationalising it.

“THE VERDICT IS OUT !! Electronic Media show on Metro and me ..TOTAL FLOP !! opening show bhi nahin laga boss !! Good Night !! ha ha.” he tweeted. “LEKIN !! I have to thank the electronic media today .. on tweet got over 1000 mentions in 10 mins because of them ... THANK YOU, BOSS,” he added.

It all happened following one of his write-ups on his blog. “It is finally happening. The metro rail being laid over the metropolis called Mumbai, some under the ground, some above over large tracts of cement structures is taking shape. There is general happiness from the commuters, for, the misery of crowded locals and the uncertainties of the three wheeler or the yellow black cab shall hopefully be greatly reduced. But here is the killer .. it's going to roll over Prateeksha !!” he wrote on his blog. “So bye bye privacy and hello fellow traveller,” he added.

Well, the media seems to have picked the word 'privacy' and ignored the words 'hello fellow traveller'.
