Mumbai, Sep 18: The usage of the word 'Zandu Balm' in the now famous song 'Munni badnaam' has landed the new Salman Khan starrer 'Dabangg' in a soup.Zandu Pharmaceuticals has reportedly slapped a notice on Arbaaz Khan Productions Private Limited for using the brand name in the song.
Emami claims it has sole copyright of not just the product but also the name 'Zandu Balm', which was used in the song without their consent, a leading TV news channel, CNN-IBN reported on Saturday, Sep 18.
The company has demanded that the either song itself must be edited out of the film or the product's name must be removed.
