Mumbai, Aug 31: The police has closed the supermodel, Viveka Babajee's death case after ruling out foul-play concluding that it was a suicide.

This means that police has given clean chit to Viveka's two friends, namely stockbroker Gautam Vohra and event manager Kartik Jobanputra, who were under the scanner during the investigations.

Vohra, who was also claimed to be Viveka's boyfriend, was probed under the suspension of abetting the 37-year-old fashion model's suicide.

Viveka, who killed herself by hanging in her Bandra flat in Jun 2010, had left behind a note that read, "U (you) killed me Gautam Vohra".

This led the police to investigate if a strained relation with Vohra forced Babajee into taking the extreme step.

"The chemical analysis report submitted by the forensic science laboratory rules out any foul play. Except the note, there is no evidence to indicate that Babajee was pressurised by someone to commit suicide," a senior police official said.
