Sharwanand’s ‘Prasthanam’s is all about the political scenario of present day. Ruby, a debutant will be playing the female lead opposite Sharwanand in the film. Actor Sai Kumar is said to be playing a crucial role in the film. Deva Katta who had earlier directed the film ‘Vennela’ had directed it.
RGV’s ‘Aawaham’ is a horror genre film which is being made trilingually in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. The movie stars Sudeep, Amrutha Kanvilkar, Ehsaas Channa, Anu Ansari, Rishab Jain, Ganesh Yadav and Manish Khanna in the main roles. The highlight of the film is that it is the scariest film so far made in India.
The National Award won film for Best regional film (Telugu), 1940 lo Oka Gramam is also releasing today. The movie has Bala Aditya and Sri Ramya in the lead roles. The film is all about the story of a village in pre-independence era which deals on high and low casts and Rich and poor.
‘1977’ starring Sarathkumar, Farzana, Namitha is also hitting the screens. The film is a Telugu dubbed version of a Tamil flick which was directed by G N Dhinesh Kumar and produced by R Sarathkumar.
Aarmugam, Rehana and Swathi starrer ‘Madanudu’ directed by Joseph and produced by V Suresh Chowdary is also releasing today. The movie is all about friendship, love and lust.
