Film critic and director Vijaya Krishnan has decided to field his offbeat venture ‘Dalamarmarangal’ for this Onam. This late entry into the fray of big Onam films, will feature Vinu Mohan as the hero. Shruthy Lakshmi, Saikumar, Nirmisha, Indrans, and Megahanathan are also in the cast lines of the movie, which is also scripted by the director. The movie is expected to make a release in limited centres.
Vijaya Krishnan has been staying away from films for the last 13 years. Produced by Gireesh Madhav and Anil Dev under the banner of Film fantasy, the movie will deal with the hidden secrets behind an attempted murder.
Movie Review
Dalamarmarangal movie tells the hidden secrets of an attempted murder are revealed through portrayal of circumstances that three different girls pass through in their life. Aswathy (Nirmisha) who is a textiles shop employee and who is staying with her bedridden and sick mother. She looks after the family with her meager salary. Kartika (Surya Mohan) who is a girl and who is bestowed upon lots of love and affection by her parents. Her life zooms into a crisis when she comes to know of the secrets of her father’s profession. The third girl, Rohini (Sruthi Lakshmi) who lives in luxury and has tremendously rich parents. But the uneasiness and unhappiness in the family atmosphere makes her very very sad. She elopes with her very poor lover. Her father engages hired hoodlums to get her back after beating up the lover. She decides to commit suicide. Aswathy ‘s mother comes in search of Indusekharan (Meghanathan) Rohini’s father. Aswathy is actually an illegitimate daughter of Indusekharan. But Indusekharan decides to get Aswathy murdered.
The person whom he engages to do this murder is Kartika’s father. He comes towards Aswathy as the messenger of death. This is an essay on how three different girls from three different social and economic backdrops try to cope with their life against all odds. Their crisis gets deepened and dangerous due to the attitudes of their parents. The experiences they go through prove that lack of love and affection is the prime reason that made hell out of their lives. Lack of love and affection leads one to violence and to destruction as well.
After 13 years of silence, Film critic and director Vijaya Krishnan is making a come back to cinema. Titled ‘Dalamaramarangal’ his new flick will be an unusual offering from the director which deals with a storyline about the hidden secrets behind an attempted murder.
The movie scripted by the director will be an essay on how three different girls from three different stratas of society try to overcome the odds posed against their existence. The movie will deal with the attempted murder of Aswathy, a textile shop employee who lives with a sick, bedridden mother. The havoc breaks loose as her mother attempts to search for Induseksharan, who is actually the illegitimate father of Aswathy. Indusekharan lives with his daughter Rohini who is amidst riches, but find solace in a poor lover to get out of her depression.
