Reviews

The crew of Kandasamy including its hero Vikram and Producer Thanu is in great shock and disappointment. Nearly 30 out of the 120 film rolls that were used for the shooting in the exotic locations of Mexico recently have been found damaged.
Normally for films that are shot abroad, the film rolls are prevented from getting 'scanned' at the airport by the security staff, if the crew provides enough proof to the airport authorities that those film rolls are used ones. It seems that this formality hasn't been followed in this instance.
Director Susi Ganesan and the cameraman Eka are accusing that the airport staffs have 'mishandled' the film rolls. But some of the unit members say that it could be the fault of the unit itself as they were extremely casual in attitude.
'Kalaipuli' Thanu is very upset as all the efforts and crores of money spent in Mexico has been wasted. After realising the importance of those damaged rolls, Thanu gave idea to the director to fly again to Mexico to shooting those scenes in the same locations. But after hearing some of his close friend's idea, he instructed the director to shoot the remaining portions and the climax in Binny mills
An exceptional magnum opus in the career of Vikram! Of course, he has already donned the most stunning roles in his previous films, but this one is unparalleled for he has crooned commendably for 4 tracks in the album. With Devi Sri Prasad scoring music for this film, the album has 8 tracks with different genres. Cinesnacks brings you the exclusive music review of Kandasamy.

1. Kandasamy Theme – Rita, Susi Ganeshan – The signature song had already hit the masses much prior to film’s shooting. The full version depicts the theme and characterization of the superhero Kandasamy who’s indeed the contemporary Robin Hood. Looks like it would appear in background score or else with the montages of superhero grabbing wealth from riches and distributing to poor sections.

2. Allegro – The most speculative song shot for the film indeed. Don’t presume this to be just an item number with sizzling Mumaith Khan on screens. The song has been shot extensively in a bus speeding with 70Kmph. The song has been tuned with the Arabic style and the singer’s voice is mind-bogglingly sensuous.

3. Meow Meow – Vikram – Priya Hemesh – It’s typically Vikram-fangled song with the beats going much similar to his Dhool’s ‘Kappa Kilangae’. The lyrical lines are catchy for the young masses and would be a sensational hit once on the screens.

4. Kandasamy (DSP Version) – Kalyan, Sagar – This is Devi Sri Prasad’s cut of work as he loves scoring DSP for the best songs. Villu had ‘Jalsa’ DSP and this Kandasamy DSP is quite appreciable. Maybe, it would appear during Final Credits.
