Reviews And Overviews

The movie started with a young woman playing the cello and switching to another scene wherein you can see a woman inside the hospital fighting for her life. This story is about a lady professor who’s blessed of having a great family and loving husband but the only thing is she’s got an autistic daughter whom she love so much other than that everything is perfect. But all these change when during her birthday she received a text message saying “are you happy now? You should be!” and then bizarre things started to happen she almost figure out in accident and then she finds a cassette tape which she tried to get rid but couldn’t and then things got worse when she bought her autistic daughter a cello. Then a series of bizarre events took place one after another where secrets of a distant past starts to unfold and the truth is revealed.
I personally like cello because it doesn’t show ghosts attacking people all it did was show herself and it was them who did the killing. The twist of the story was really amazing. How one lies can actually become a reality for someone who tried so hard to hide her past and actually live to think that the lies were actually true. In the end we all find out that once the person is dead every evil thing she did when she was alive will come back and torment her over and over and over again.
This movie also shows how greed can actually corrupt people’s mind making them do the unthinkable such as sacrificing a friend’s life just to satisfy her greed and how our love over a particular member of the family can actually make us not think about the other family member’s welfare and would do anything to cover up a gruesome crime.
I find this movie interesting and I will definitely recommend this to my friends. I like the ending of the story and how she paid the crime she committed. I must say this is the first Asian movie I have seen where bad people are actually punished for what they did and get what they deserve.
