The difference between rumours and truth in media have reduced to such an extent that no one including the media can differentiate between the truth and the false. Recently, the rumours about one of the top-notch Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre's wardrobe malfunction has again raised questions on the credibility of the news carried by media.

Recently, malicious rumour about actress Sonali made to the headline claiming of her pantyless act at Karan Johar's Filmfare achievement party. However, at the very right time the actress denied to all the rumours and rubbished the reports circulating in the media about her sans panty act.

Her spokesperson recently released a statement which read, “There have been malicious reports circulating online about a wardrobe malfunction concerning our client Ms.Sonali Bendre. On behalf of Sonali, we would like to clarify, that there is no truth to the story which has left both Sonali Bendre and her family highly grieved and disturbed.”

Commenting on the 'media created quote' on Sonali, the notice further stated that the story also carried a quote attributed to Sonali which is utterly ridiculous. The also mentioned that Sonali belong to a respectable family and is a mother and has always shared a warm and cordial relationship with the media.

The actress is very upset with all the malicious reports and said that she would be taking legal actions against all the media organisation who tried to spoil her reputation. The statement further read, “We would like to elucidate to all concerned that the story is fabricated by vested interests that aim to damage her reputation and hence request you to not credit it or encourage it. More importantly other sources further publicizing this malicious story, will face a legal notice.”
