Movie Plot Summary:
Set in Mumbai, the film is the story of a girl named Naina who, in the face of her 30th birthday, grapples with heartbreak, and a crisis in her advertising career. Turning 30!!! is a hilarious and heart-warming journey of a young woman who is blossoming into a woman of substance.
Turning 30 is an upcoming Bollywood film produced by Prakash Jha and directed by Alankita Srivastav - a long time assistant of Jha.
The movie features Gul Panag and Purab Kohli, with music composed by the music director duo of Sidharth-Suhas, whose past works include Dil Dosti and Bhram. According to pre-production news, the film is a young urban love story and women centric film and for the first time a non-political story by Prakash Jha.
Movie Story:
Turning 30!!! is Naina's story as she grapples with heartbreak, and a crisis in her advertising career in the face of her 30th birthday. And as she fights her anxiety and fears about being 30 years old, Naina realizes there's a lot of growing up to be done. Set in the heart of urban Mumbai, Turning 30!!! Nothing pains a woman more than being dumped by her boyfriend and chucked out of her job just days before her 30th birthday.
In the upcoming chick comedy Turning 30!!!, Gul Panag plays an advertising executive who grapples with the fears and anxiety of being manless and jobless at 30. People around her keep reminding her of her sagging breasts and need to have new lingerie. Then a man comes into her life and she grabs him like a hungry wolf.
The movie has hot smooches between Gul and co-star Purab Kohli. In fact, in one scene Gul and Purab were so lost smooching for the camera that they did not hear the director’s command ‘cut’ and continued with their lip-lock. Talk about job commitment!
