New York, (ANI): Lindsay Lohan’s mother has apparently revealed that her daughter has declined an offer to appear on ‘Dancing with the Stars’. A source close to the show said in November that producers “have had Lindsay on their wish list of castmates for a very long time,” despite reservations about her erratic behavior.

Dina has said that although the Lohans “love the show” and the troubled actress seriously considered the offer, her appearing “is not going to happen.” "Lindsay is a great dancer, but she's taking a break right now. She has been through a lot," the New York Post quoted Dina as telling Radaronline.

Lindsay is currently residing at the Betty Ford rehab facility near Palm Springs, Calif., getting treatment for substance abuse issues stemming from her stint in jail earlier in 2010 for violating the terms of her 2007 DUI probation. She is expected to remain in rehab until at least Jan. 3, 2011.

After Lohan leaves rehab and has some time off, her mother said, “she has so many projects she is considering... and her true love is film."
