Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver have joined the cast of Buried director Rodrigo Cortés' upcoming psychological thriller Red Lights. According to Variety, Cortés wrote the screenplay, which will be produced by Adrián Guerra through his Barcelona-based Versus Entertainment.Sigourney Weaver will play a psychologist studying the paranormal. Her investigation eventually leads her and her assistant to a world-renowned psychic play by Robert De Niro.No other plot details were given at this time.
Shooting will take place in February. Rodrigo Cortés plans to film most of his thriller in Spain, but will also venture into Canada for two weeks of production.
Red Lights is in development and stars Sigourney Weaver, Robert De Niro. The film is directed by Rodrigo Cortés.
