Wedding bells fill the air with joy and festivities as Dussera comes to a close. Radio Mirchi 98.3FM and the young actor Tarun of Sandalwood commemorating the traditions of South India observed it with a twist at the Mirchi Studio, today. Radio Mirchi adding extra vigor to Bommbe Habba, an age old tradition in Karnataka, celebrated it with the wedding of Rahul and Priya, a made for each other bombe couple. Actor Tarun Chandra and programming head Divyashree adopted the adorable and cute bombes, Rahul and Priya, on the 18th of October, celebrating the auspicious ten days and its festivities.

Bombe Madhuve, a new-fangled way of celebrating Dussera is a Radio Mirchi concept. The young talented star Tarun & Programming Head Divyashree, also a part of this innovative and unique concept, adopted the dolls at the start of the festivities, thus building up to their star studded wedding. Programming Head Divyashree, the guardian of our handsome groom Rahul, was very thrilled about the entire scenario. Sharing her experiences, she commented ‘Taking the Bombe Habba, a step further we decided to make this Dusshera special with Bombe Habba. Being the guardian of my bombe maga, I am very excited for Rahul & Priya’.

On the auspicious occasion of the wedding of Rahul and Priya, Radio Mirchi studio was festooned like a mantapam. Everybody wore traditional outfits for the occasion. A real time pundit was present on the occasion to solemnize Rahul and Priya’s wedding in the most authentic vedic customs. The studio was filled with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. Tarun Chandra, the guardian of the bride, also shared his feelings, ‘Radio Mirchi continuously comes up with innovative ideas to connect with their listeners.
