Landry Bender Joins Jonah Hill in The Sitter

Newcomer child actress Landry Bender has signed on for a role in The Sitter, starring opposite Jonah Hill in the Fox comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Jonah Hill stars as a suspended college student in for a crazy night when he is forced to babysit the kids who live next door to his single mother. Landry Bender has been cast as Blithe, the youngest of a trio of troublemaking kids.

David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) is directing from a script from Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka.

The Sitter starts filming Monday in New York.

The Sitter comes to theaters July 15th, 2011 and stars Jonah Hill, Ari Graynor, Miriam McDonald. The film is directed by David Gordon Green.
