After loosing the first game by quite good margin, India has no option other than to win the game and stay alive in the tournament, which will leave all three teams with almost equal points as well as will wide open the tournament.
However it will be not an easy task for M.S.Dhoni and his men, since the team who wins the toss is almost certain to win the game if they score in excess of 220 runs in Dambulla. The bad news for India is Yuvraj Singh is down with dengue fever and their one of the bowler Ashish Nehra is also not certain to play because of injury.
Injuries have wrecked the balance of the squad and a bowling reinforcement has already been called in Munaf Patel to cover for the off-colour Ishant Sharma who is nursing a knee problem. India needs to raise their game significantly if they would like to beat Sri Lanka in their backyard.
Toss is another worry of concern for the Indians, as M.S.Dhoni not won a single toss on this tour. He knows how crucial it will be for him to won the toss and put decent score on the board bating first.
India who is already missing the service of Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Zaheer Khan and Yuvraj Singh has lot of catch-up to do in their absence. India who was depending on Ravinder Jadeja for an all-rounder spot, now have to do lot of thinking to fill that spot since after getting so many chances at international level he looked like is not a man India needs at number seven spot.
