Pakistan bans India Osama Bin Laden Comedy Tere Bin Laden The film has a "fake" Bin Laden.
Pakistan has banned an Indian comedy called Tere Bin Laden (Without You Laden), about a lookalike of Osama Bin Laden.
The country's film censor board has objected to the way the movie portrays Bin Laden and warned that it could trigger a "terrorist attack".
The film was due to have been released in Pakistan on Friday.
Its main distributor told the BBC that an appeal has been filed against Thursday's decision.
In a statement the film board said that Tere Bin Laden was "unsuitable for public exhibition".
They said it was a "controversial subject which depicted the character of Osama Bin Laden in a comic way... and contains vulgar and objectionable dialogue, abuses and derogatory remarks".
The board said that the film also "portrayed a bad and negative image of law enforcing agencies of the country".

Tere Bin Laden movie is a tongue-in-cheek comedy about an ambitious young news reporter from Pakistan who is desperate to migrate to the US in pursuit of the American dream. His repeated attempts to immigrate are shot down as his visa is always rejected.
But when things couldn't look worse he comes across an Osama bin laden look alike. Ali then hatches a scheme to produce a fake Osama video and sell it to news channels as a breakthrough scoop! Unfortunately there are serious ramifications as the White House gets involved and dispatches an overzealous secret agent on Ali's trail.

Tere Bin Laden aims to take a lighter approach to the topical issue by chronicling the antics of an ambitious Pakistani TV reporter who aims to migrate to the United States of America. Tere Bin Laden (Without You, Laden) is a movie to watch out for two reasons, the first being the obvious potential of it being a hilarious comedy and the second being, that it is the launch vehicle for Pakistani pop star Ali Zafar as an actor.
Tere Bin Laden's music has been composed by Shankar-Eshaan-Loy (Dil Chahta Hai and Rock On!!), Dhruv Dhalla (Dil Kabaddi), and Ali Zafar. Lyrics have been penned by Jaideep Sahini (Aaja Nachle), Ali Zafar, Jaspreet Singh and Dhruv Dhalla.
