Synopsis: Inspired by the story of Joe and Sally Conforte, proprietors of the Mustang Ranch, the first legalized house of prostitution in Nevada. Boxer Oscar Bonavena was gunned down at the ranch in 1976, suspected of having an affair with the madam Sally.
Helen Mirren and Joe Pesci star as a married couple whose faithfulness is tested with deadly results after starting Nevada's first legal brothel in this Capitol Films drama. Mark Jacobson adapts the screenplay based on a true story that ended with the death of boxer Oscar Bonavena at the Mustang Ranch in 1976.
As a wee lad, there were countless times I'd think about a song and -- poof -- it would almost instantly come on the radio. Well, that kind of happened today since it was less than a week ago I lamented the lack of pictures from Helen Mirren's upcoming movie "Love Ranch." Ya know, the one where she plays a Nevada brothel owner?
