Bad Blood Plot Summary:
When the boss of a ruling Hong Kong triad is arrested and executed in China for counterfeiting money, mayhem ensues as the mob's leading contenders circle the throne.
The boss of Hong Kong Triad Organization "Tung Luen Shun", Andy (Siu-Fai Cheung) was arrested and executed for smuggling counterfeit Renminbi in mainland China. With the boss removed, "Tung Luen Shun" was in a critical stage which a new leader had to be appointed fast. The great sum of Andy's estate also caused a major conflict among the Triad family members. Mysterious murders followed, causing deaths of many leading members of the gang. An evil plot was set to seize control and possession of "Tung Luen Shun".
Who's the mastermind behind all these killings? The arrogant strong man, Funky (Simon Yam) ... the seemingly gentle daughter of the gamily, Audrey (Bernice Liu) ... the quiet and deformed warrior, Calf (Andy On) ... the greedy senior members, Hung (Ken Lo) and Zen (Wai-Man Chan) ... the naive younger brother ... all the other wives of the former boss ... or the mysterious mute girl, Dumby (Lui Xia Jiang)?

Dennis Law’s “Bad Blood” is a triad movie only in the sense that there are triad stuff a’happenin’ onscreen, but let’s face it, this is a kung fu/martial arts movie, filled with crazy, intense whirlwind fights. Law has already shown a skill for the genre in previous efforts like “Fatal Contact” and “Fatal Move”, and this looks like a major step forward for him in terms of action choreography. The cast includes Simon Yam (he’s always good), Andy On (he can be okay), and a new face to me, Jiang Lui Xia. This new movie is about a power struggle within the ranks of a Hong Kong Triad organization after its leader is arrested and executed. After the execution an internal power struggle ensues as the members fight for the mantle of leadership in theorganization.
The leading members of the gang are suddenly being murdered mysteriously and several suspects are eyed as being responsible for the killings. The suspects include an arrogant gangster, an innocent looking daughter of the family, a quiet and deformed warrior, greedy senior members and many others as the quest for control of theorganization continues. With the continuing struggle, more bodies pile up and only after all members of the gang are put away will the one responsible be identified.
