The film follows the journey of three young men, Ramarajan, Vinayagam and Saamikannu, who flee from their remote, conservative village to escape their overly strict families and travel to the international tourist destination Goa, where they enjoy themselves and experiencing things they have never had a chance to.

With most of the Pongal releases letting down our expectations, the entire town is eagerly looking out for the release of Venkat Prabhu’s Goa. Well, Venkat Prabhu is so confident that Goa will be an absolute grand fiesta for those who adore fun and friendship.
After the successful encounter of the movie “Saraoj” Director Venkat Prabhu next flick titled as “Goa”. Venkat Prabhu nature of storyline is different from others so there were speculation about the storyline of “Goa” would be a racy entertainer which is going to film under the banner of Ocher Studios in association with Hollywood Production House. Latest from “Goa” movie is that Actor Premji, Jai and Vaibhav already signed for the project. Yuvan Shankar Raja also roped for the movie as music director.
Cinematographer Sakthi Saravanan have also signed for the project. Director Venkat Prabhu says that the storyline was inspired from a real incident which happens in March at Goa in which a man charged for a case against raping a British teenager. Thestoryline revolves around this rape case of a girl and the story is going too made with humour and thrill. Hope Goa will be Director Venkat Prabhu’s Hat Trick success

Adding more, he has stated that the complete film will be overwhelming with fun and frolic with unexpected twists and turns as well. Jai, the Subramaniapuram fame, Telugu actor Vaibhav, Premji and Aravind has taken the lead role while Piyaa and Sneha are performing female lead. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s musical score has already become chartbusters in audio market.
Earlier, producer Soundarya Rajnikanth had plans about releasing the film on Pongal and backed off during last minute. The film will hit screens with more prints as the distributors are sure that the film will be a surefooted winner at box office.
