Saleem is a action romantic based movie in which, Vishnu is shown a complete new image with this movie.
Vishnu is going to appear in completely new avatar with lean looks and funky hairstyle and for the first time Ileana is pairing with Vishnu for this movie.
Mohan Babu is acting as mafia Don and Ileana is playing the role of glamorous young girl called ‘Satya’. Hot beauty Kaveri Jha of Nagaram and Naa Girl Friend Baga Rich fame is also acting in this movie.

Taj Deccan, Hyderabad was the place were the movie launch of Saleem – "Dummu reputadu" was held this morning, 1st of September.
'Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures' are the producers of 'Saleem' which is a home production of Mohan Babu. The production house is in for a double delight as this is the 50th movie produced under their banner with Mohan Babu's son enacting the lead role.
The male lead is played by Vishnu who is awaiting matrimony and Ileana as the female lead. The movie is directed by YVS Chowdary who has high hopes on this movie. The music is being composed by Sandeep Chowta.
The inauguration of the movie took place as Dasari Narayana Rao striked the clapboard for the shooting to commence. The camera was rolled on by Nagarjuna Akkineni and the scene was directed by K.Raghavendra Rao. The script was handed over by Mr & Mrs Mohan Babu to perform the pooja. The harathi was performed by Prabhas after Kalyanram Nandamuri lighted the lamps.
The producer Mohan Babu made a speech on the occasion. The lead cast of the movie spoke about their dedication for making it a commercial success. The audience was also addressed by writers Gopi Mohan and Ravi. The entire launch function had a picturesque look which gives a positive impression for the movie about to be made.
Producer Mohan Babu said during the launch of the audio songs, “Saleem is the highest budgeted movie on my banner and it cost me around 23 crores to produce Saleem. This is also the first foray ofBig Pictures in Telugu. Saleem has superb songs. YVS Chowdary has done excellent work though he overspent.
