Storyline:
Eons after the Gods won their mythic struggle against the Titans, a new evil threatens the land. Mad with power, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) has declared war against humanity. The latest trailer of the movie Immortals, which has recently been released on net, shows the epic battle that has never been shown on screen before. This war sequence surpasses the standards of the scenes of latest Hollywood films like Thor or Game of Thrones. The preview video brings you Greek mythology in slow motion bow and arrows and a shiny, shirtless Henry Cavill.
The movie Immortals is about Theseus, who is a mortal chosen by the Gods to fight against an endless army. Actor Henry Cavill is playing Theseus, while Luke Evans and Mickey Rourke appear as the young Zeus and King Hyperion respectively. The second trailer shows slow motion fighting, arrow flinging and golden winged ninja-like warriors and it is hard to make out who exactly is fighting whom.
Immortals is directed by Tarsem Singh and Charley Parlapanides and Vlas Parlapanides have penned the script for it. Freida Pinto, Kellan Lutz, Isabel Lucas, Stephen Dorff, John Hurt and Robert Maillet are also in other supporting roles in the film, which is scheduled to release on 11th November.
