Mylari Kannada Movie Preview:
After the success of Taj Mahal, director R Chandru came out with another good movie Prem Kahani. Although it got rave reviews from the film critics, it failed to reach the expectations of the producer and director at the Box Office. Now, the director is coming back with his next venture. He has teamed up with Hat-trick hero Shivaraj Kumar in his third movie Mylari.

Mylari is an original family entertainer and R Chandru himself has written story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. Since Mylari is 99th film of Shivaraj Kumar, it was really a big challenge for R Chandru to meet the expectations of his fans. So the director has worked very hard in making this movie. Chandru says that Mylari has a very strong script, which will be loved by the audience and the critics. Even Shivanna opines that R Chandru has done extraordinary work for the film.

Shivaraj Kuamr seems to be following the footsteps of Kamal Haasan in Mylari. Breaking away from the monotony, he is sporting six different looks in the film. The specialty of the 48-year-old actor is that he has essayed a role of a college student in it. However, the year 2010 is not good for the Sandalwood star. His much-expected movies like Sugreeva, Thamassu and Cheluveye Ninna Nodalu have failed to reach the expectations of the producer. Now, Mylari will be a decisive movie in his career. He has reduced five kilos weight for the film. So he has lots of expectations from this flick.

Mylari has two heroines and popular south Indian actress Sada is playing the first heroine. The actress, who is an introvert in her real life, is playing a coy village girl, who does not speak too much. She has lot of respect for Shivanna and she hopes that Shivanna's 99th film will make people come out of the theatres with a big smile on their faces.

Sanjjana a.k.a. Archana Galrani, who is playing the second female lead in Mylari, is thrilled about it. She says that she always wanted to play alongside Puneet and Shivaraj Kumar and with Mylari that dream is coming true. The actress has all praise for Shivanna. She says, "He's an intense actor and a great dancer. Besides this, he's a great observer and learner and I've learned a lot from him." However, the actress has high expectations from it.

Shivaraj Kumar has already starred in RS productions' films like Yuvaraja, Sriram and Santha, which were average hits at the Box Office. Now, producers Kanakapura Srinivas and KP Shrikanth are quite hopeful that Mylari would be super hit film. Srinivas says that Mylari is 99th film of Shivanna. So they have planned to release it in 99 theatres across the state.

The second highlight of Mylari is its music, which has been composed by none other than popular musician Gurukiran. The movie has five songs penned by Kaviraj (3 songs), Gurukiran (1 song) and Manjunath Sanjeev (1 song). Shankar Mahadevan, Udit Narayan, Shamita Malnad, Gurukiran, SPB, Chitra and Kailash Kher have rendered their voice for the songs. Another specialty of the music is that Puneet Rajkumar has sung the song 'Mylapura Mylari...', which has become a chartbuster. The music of the movie has created a record by selling 24,000 audio CDs and cassettes in just two days of its release.

In addition to all these aspect, the other technical team has also put in lot of hard work to make it a big success. Bollywood choreographer Pradeep Antony has created 24 different dance steps for the songs. Thriller Manju has done an excellent stunt for the fight scenes of Mylari. Cameraman Chandrasekhar has done wonderful picterisation that will be well enjoyed by the Kannada audiences.

The title of the movie has been inspired by the name of a goat in late Dr. Rajukumar's movie Bangarada Panjara. The legendary actor was called Beera, while the goat was known as Mylari, which has now been the title for Shivanna's film. However, the title Mylari was registered by Ashwini Ram Prasad at KFCC and he was not ready to give it to this film producers. Finally, Shivanna is said to have convinced him and got the rights of the title.

However, the movie Mylari has been last much-expected movie of the year 2010. Shivanna, R Chandru, Sada, Sanjjana, producer KP Shirkanth and musician Gurukiran have lots of expectations from it. The movie is slated to release on 24th December. It is going to decide the future of all these stars.
