It may be recalled that a few years ago, K. Asif's cult classic Mughal-e-Azam was re-released in colour during the Diwali weekend. Now, the evergreen superstar Dev Anand is all set to release his famous film Hum Dono in a brand new colour version. The film is likely to have a theatrical release on 28 January in the overseas market and in the first week of February in India.

It may be recalled that Hum Dono had Dev Anand playing a double role along with actresses Nanda and Sadhana. The new version of the film has been coloured using a very advanced technology in US and is in Cinemascope with Dolby Digital Ex surround sound.

It will be interesting to see if the youngsters of today go and watch this evergreen cult classic when it releases early next year.
