Lata shares childhood memory on her b'day

Lata Mangeshkar, Bollywood's legendary play back singer, turns 81 today. On a micro blogging site Lata has a rare childhood picture posted.
Lata thanked everyone on the micro-blogging site, twitter, “ Namaskar, I'm deeply touched and overwhelmed with your love and kind wishes on my birthday..it is only because of your constant support and love that I feel the need to keep going on..I thank you all from my heart..today I am sharing a very rare photograph of mine when I was a little child..The child in me is still very alive..never ever let the child in you die....
Lata's past life
Lata is one of the best-known playback singers in the Hindi film industry. Mangeshkar's career started in 1942 and has spanned over six and a half decades. She has sung for over a thousand Bollywood movies and has also sung in twenty Indian regional languages.
Mangeshkar was featured in the Guiness Book of World Records from 1974 to 1991 for having made the most recordings in the world. The claim was that she had recorded no less than 25,000 solo, duet, and chorus-backed songs in 20 Indian languages between 1948 to 1974 (30,000 songs between 1948 and 1987, according to the 1987 edition).
